India Meteorological Department has already established four AMSS
systems at Regional HQs of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Koata! It is
also planned to install a ne" AMSS at #agpur and replace the e$isting
AMSS at %u"ahati! &hese AMSS centers need to be connected to Airforce Stations for e$change of
Meteorological informations in Automatic mode!

Scre" dri(er set etc!,re*uired for the system integration, installation, testing.checout and
maintenance of the system along "ith diagnostic utilities etc!
B!7 &he (endor shall propose an acceptance test plan to demonstrate that
the system meets all specifications including testing at the (endorEs
plant site as "ell as final acceptance testing and commissioning at IMD
field location! Detailed test plan and procedures shall be pro(ided by
the successful (endor "ithin ) months after the a"ard of the contract
and these "ill be re(ie"ed by IMD and (endorEs representati(es! &he
mutually agreed test plan and detailed procedures "ill be documented
and this document "ill form the basis of all acceptance tests on the
system!
B!;System design document is to be submitted "ithin one month from a"ard

installation and soft"are loading
7,)&he (endor shall propose a comprehensi(e training programme at each
installation site for IMD engineers along "ith the proposal! &he training
should co(er all aspects of the general design philosophy, integration,
installation, checout, operations, maintenance, fault diagnosis and
repair of the (arious e*uipments of the system! &raining should be
separate for hard"are and soft"are aspects of the system and training is
to be pro(ided "ith sufficient handouts! A detailed training plan may be
submitted by the (endor as a part of the training proFect!
