Dear Friends and Family,

April 18
th
was three months that I have been living in Shell and serving at Casa
de Fe. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement, prayer and love. I am
blessed by each of you and am so grateful to know that you have been praying for me.
This month, the kids
spent a lot of time play-
ing soccer and compet-
ing against each other in
teams. We skipped Eng-
lish class for soccer
games and used soda
bottles to make drums
and horns to cheer the
teams as they played.
We all enjoyed the
games and the kids
seemed to love
competing against each other.
For April Fools Day we played a few tricks - some of which backfired on us -
then had all the kids wish one of the missionaries a Happy Birthday as we pretended all
day that it was his birthday.
On Good Friday we planned several Easter games with the kids. One of the
games required two hard boiled eggs. We handed the eggs to one of the little children
while we prepared for the game to start. When we came back to get the eggs, theyd
eaten them!
All the missionaries
pitched in on Easter and made
lunch for over 80 children. It was
hectic and fun. After lunch we all
went upstairs to sing a few songs
and have a short message about
Jesus and the resurrection. What a
gift to be able to share with these
children what Christ did for us on
the cross.

This last month I revised my budget. There have been many little unexpected
expenses such as having to go to the neighboring town to buy groceries. Would you
