Fesco Supplies Antarctic Research Station
Fesco, a Summa Group shipping subsidiary, has recently been working in the Antarctica in
order to supply general cargo, food and diesel to Argentinean research stations in the icy
territory. From January to March 2014, the Vasily Golovin processed over 8 000 tonnes of
cargo. This included removal of household and technical collection from all stations.

No waste had been removed from the Antarctic since 2013. The ship visited 12 stations

including the Belgrano-II, Orcadas, Petrer,
Esperanza, Marambio, Carlini, San Martin,
Brown, Primavera, Camara, Frey and
Deception Island. FESCOs goal was to
deliver more goods to the Argentine
stations than in 2012 (they did not
participate in 2013).

The Vasily Golovin arrived at the Argentine
port of Bahia Blanca and is planned for
bunkering after working in the Antarctica
from 2003 to present.
Stroynovatsiya Continues on Baltic Pipeline

Summa Group building subsidiary Stroynovatsiya is under contract by Transneft, Inc who
required the company to perform a number of complex construction and construction-
installation operations on the Baltic Pipeline System 2 (BPS-2).
Many of the projects have already been completed
and put into action including:

Pipeline sections spanning 353 kilometers
SOD monitoring checkpoints for the Andreapol
repumping station.
Road underpasses to pressurizing equipment
assemblies.
Protection, automation and tele-operation systems.
Pressurizing equipment assemblies.
Electrical and chemical protection.
10 kV route side high-tension power line.

Stroynovatsiya Continues on Baltic Pipeline

Construction of the trunk oil pipeline and infrastructure facilities for the Ust-Luga oil base.
The first Russian oil shipment was offloaded in test mode at the port in March 2012.
First phase of BPS-2 capacity was 30 000 000 tonnes in year one.
Second phase increased to 50 000 000 in the following years.
Second phase was completed in December 2013.

Further development of the Baltic
Pipeline System will focus on
diversifying the export flows of
Russian oil, reducing transit risks to
foreign markets and increasing
Russias level of energy security.

The pipeline will allow for the
optimization of the loading of the
Russian pipeline system.
