Transfer System (HSTS), in combination with
REF542plus Multifunctional Protection and
Switch bay Control Units and optimized ABB
Vacuum Circuit breakers type VM1-T (operating
time about 16ms) to achieve transfer times of
approximately 30ms. A special type of Breaker
is normally recommended by ABB.

Integrated with switchgear of all major

manufacturers in India to achieve transfer
times of 1-2 cycles (20- 40 ms) for fast transfer,
even on normal vacuum or SF-6 breakers.
Present installations indicate that BTS 2000 has
given excellent & consistent fast transfer
results with all prominent makes of Indian
medium voltage switchgear of
BHEL/Siemens/ABB/Jyoti make.
Facility for Auto transfer during under voltage,
bus under frequency or high df / dt by
continuously monitoring the system
parameters.
Ansi C-50.41 Criterion: BTS 2000 continuously
monitors the resultant vector between the bus
& new source on per unit voltage/hertz criteria
as per ANSI C50.4I criterion as a permissive for
fast transfer operations.
On Line Testing: On line testing mode facility is
provided on the front interface. During test
mode, BTS2000 checks all interlocks to
ascertain the bus transfer operation by actual
assertion of the tripping and closing contacts
as per actual system conditions, but without
triggering breaker operation. The display of
change status of breaker in test mode is
fictitiously indicated on the interface. Incase of
occurrence of an actual protective / auto
transfer, the test mode automatically gets
disconnected.

standardized on BTS 2000 due to reliable and
consistent performance
Offered by highly qualified original designer as
integral part of the supply contract at no extra
cost. This also Includes on Site training of
Customer engineers on all aspects of BTS 2000
testing downloading & analysis of the
Oscillographic data.

Experience in India for SUE-3000 Performance

in Power Station is presently not known to
exist.
