INSTRUCTIONAL SUPERVISORY PLAN

Instructional supervisory plan is a detailed in-service education and leadership set of activities or actions that a principal or supervisor takes to promote
growth in students learning (Ericson Sabacan on Scribd.com).As Winston Churchill said, He who fails to plan ,plan to fail. Therefore, instructional supervisory
plan is a must if one wants to succeed in his or her career. ISP is anchored on legal bases making it mandatory and obligatory. It is considered the initial
indicator of the Performance Appraisal System for School Administrators (PASSA). As stated in R.A.9155 (Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001), ISP is
one of the duties and responsibilities of a school head. It is also one of the requirements in the revised School Based Assessment Tool particularly in Principle
2(Curriculum and Instruction).
The ISP helps the school system provides for professional stimulation and curriculum improvement. It also serves as guide among instructional leaders in
monitoring instruction and in other key areas of development. In the accomplishment of an ISP,the instructional leader should have test results(periodical tests,
mid-year test, NAT),results of Phil-IRI,ECCD Checklist, SreYA ,School Strategic Plan and Financial Plan,Performance indicators, results of NCBTS and TSNA,
School Calendar of Activities(for the School Year).
A sample of ISP is hereby documented for the instructional leaders to serve as guide in the preparation of their ISP.
