About checking OmniPCX 4400 accounting software locks

On a console or by telnet, log on as mtcl user and check the accounting locks by using
command spadmin.
Select choice 2 Display active file and look at Accounting and !ternal Accounting
values that should be set to ". #f they are set to $, accounting is not allo%ed.

#n /ommon Storage 0arameters&
0#1 numbers are masked in the accounting ticket by default. 2nmask if needed.
3ast ' digits of called numbers are masked by default. Set value to $ not to mask
any digits.

Set number of storage days.
Set filters to store tickets. 4hen a filter is listed, tickets are stored if they meet filter
re5uirement. .or e!ample, if 0ublic local outgoing calls is listed, public local
outgoing calls are then stored. 0ublic outgoing of $ unit calls must be stored
especially if no meter pulses are sent from the carrier.

About setting up a node and automatic download

=. nter 0AB8 main #0 address and click on Done.

incoming calls must be do%nloaded from the pab!.

list.

2". @o add a ne% node, repeat all steps from step '.
22. #f automatic retrieval %as selected, do%nload fre5uencies are set in menu
Setup90olling fre5uencies. Select Accounting in Data list and set interval and start
hour. By default, one do%nload is done every day at midnight. /hange start hour to
"2&)$ A7 to take into account "2&$$A7 file.
2). /lose Setup and save changes.

About downloading files from a node manually
". 6ightAclick on .ile @ransfer 7anager, select .orce Data 6etrieval from pb! no%
and a node name from the node list. Ereyed node name are node %ith accounting
not activated yet in Setup.
2. 4hen asking %hich files to do%nload, keep all by default and click O:.
). .ile @ransfer 7anager icon becomes green %hen application tries to connect to a
node and tries to get files from a node. 4hen icon becomes grey, do%nload is
finished.
About finding downloaded file after automatic or manual download
". @ickets are stored in file 8&9nmc9data9grashar.apc %here !&9nmc is installation
directory and grashar.apc is a te!t file ,use 4ordpad to read it-. #f grashar.apc is not
removed from data directory by e!ternal soft%are, ne% tickets are appended to the
file other%ise a ne% grashar.apc is created at each do%nload.
grashar.apc includes ticket data and format.
