ASTROLOGICAL REASONINGS


About myself
Born in Amalapuram, E.Godavari District, A.P, Sastry Karra grew up in
Hyderabad, A.P. My father (Late) Karra. Venkata Rao, uncles and grandfather were all
well versed in vedic astrology. It was my familys tradition to provide predictions using
vedic astrology for Free.
At the age of 16, I showed interest in astrology, learned the basic calculations
and then predictions from my grandfather.
Being an IT professional, I developed my own software that performs the
standard planetary calculations, different types of dasa calculations and validate
hundreds of yoga combinations mentioned in various classical texts.
I am currently residing in New Jersey, USA and spends my free time by providing
free predictions using facebook. I also wrote some articles explaining the techniques
used for predictions and they are easily available for free in scribd.com website.

Introduction
In Vedic Astrology facebook group, one of the members posted the birth details
of a male native who was unmarried as of April 2014.

In this article, I will be using Sudharshana Chakra Dasa as my baseline to predict
the timing of marriage event and then the possible reasons for the native to remain
unmarried. While analyzing these charts, the known Bhirgu & Brihat methodologies
and other dasa systems are considered. There are more than 10 different ways
to find the possibility of "marriage event timing". I consolidated all of them and
included in this article.

Planetary combinations only provide the needed
opportunities for the possibility of an event to happen, it is up
to the native to make it happen.

If there is NO support from the native, the event might get
skipped.

Analying the Planets Nakshatra Lords in Rashi (Natal) chart:


Let us first look at the Nakshatra Lords of the important planets.
Moon Lagnadipathi is residing in Ardra Rahu being the ruler.
Sun (Debilitated) Lord of 2
nd
house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by
Jupiter.
Venus a Malefic Lord of 4
th
Saturn. With respect to Janma Nakshatra, it is Vipatha Tara (Very
Bad).
Mars Lord of 5
th
house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by Saturn. With
respect to Janma Nakshatra, it is Vipatha Tara (Very Bad).
Saturn Lord of 7
th
house is residing in Nakshatra ruled by Mars.
Mercury a Malefic Lord of 12
th
Jupiter.

Thus, 2
nd
and 12
th
house lords are in Jupiters Nakshatra. Unfortunately,
the planet was either Malefic or Debilitated.

Saturn, Rahu and Mars play vital role on Natives ability to get
married and have a home-life environment and this is clearly visible
based on Nakshatras.

Analying the Planets Positions in Navamsa (D-9) chart:

Let us first look at the important house related to spouse in Navamsa (D9 Chart). Saturn
is lord of 7
th
house here and residing in 2
nd
(Kutumbha-stanam) house.

Analying the Planets Positions in Rashi (Natal) chart:

Let us first look at the important houses related to marriage.


Saturn is the lord of 7
th
house and residing in its OWN house. Thus, he became the
"decision maker" when it comes to 7
th
house (Kalatra-stanam).
Saturn's 10th aspect is on 4
th
house (home-life environment) which is owned by Venus
(karaka for marriage for men), which is NATURAL 7
th
house.
Natal Sun (lord of 2
nd
house - Kutumbha-stanam) and Natal Mercury (Lord of 12
th
house -
pleasures of bed) are residing in 7
th
house. While Sun is debilitated, Mercury is a Malefic.
Rahu is in 12
th
house cojoined with Moon (lord of 1
st
house aka. tanu-stanam), thus
making the native least bothered about "Pleasures of bed".
Mars (lord of 5
th
house - putra stanam) is aspecting 12
th
house (8
th
aspect) where Rahu &
Moon are there. Thus the effects of 12th house got further afflicted.
Analying the Planets Kakshya Lords in Rashi (Natal) chart:


Let us first look at the important houses related to marriage. While Moon plays a vital
role in getting the native married, since the 7
th
house lord is in its Kakshya, Mercury plays a
secondary role (since lord of 2
nd
and 12
th
houses are in its Kakshya). With Moon residing in 12
th

house, cojoined with Rahu, it got afflicted and became weak.
Analying the 7
th
House in Rashi (Natal) chart:

Let us go more in detail looking at the 7
th
house, planets in that house and its lord.
Malefic Saturn is residing in 7
th
house. Its 3
rd
aspect is on 9
th
(Dharma-stanam)
house, 7
th
aspect is on 1
st
(Tanu-stanam) house and 10
th
aspect is on 4
th
(Sukha-
stanam) house. Thus malefic Saturn had afflicted 1
st
, 4
th
, 7
th
and 9
th
houses.
Fortunately, no other planet is aspecting 7
th
house.

Analying the 7
th
House in Rashi (Natal) chart with Moon as Lagna:

On natal Chart, Moon is residing in Gemini, Mercury is the house owner. Assuming
Gemini as Lagna, the 7
th
house will be Sagittarius and Jupiter is the owner of this house.

Saturn is lord of 9
th
(Dharma-stanam) house and with its 3
rd
aspect is looking at Jupiter.
Thus, the 7
th
house lord got partially afflicted.
Analying various Dasa Systems:

Let us first look at various dasa systems between the natives age of 21
and 36.

#1: Vimsottari Dasa System:

According to Vimsottari dasa, Saturn Mahadasa began in 1983-04 (natives age was 20
years old). Thus, the Vimsottari dasa DID NOT cooperate the native to get married
between the age of 24 and 38.

The next Mahadasa is Mercury a malefic and residing in 4
th
house. Due to transit
Saturn, during this period the event failed to get activated.


#2: Sudharshana Chakra Dasa System:

Lagna is : Kataka (Cancer). Lagna Nakshatra is: Punarvasu. Lagna Nakshatra with respect to
Janma Nakshatra is : Sampatha Nakshatra - VERY GOOD. The inclination is: 1 Degrees and 32
Minutes. IT IS LAGNASANDHI. Thus, the Lagna itself is NOT STRONG.

In Nov 1987, the native was above 22 years and hence the third and fourth cycles of
Sudharshana Chakra Dasa are considered predicting the timing of marriage event. The
corresponding Vimsottari Dasa was Saturn Mahadasa until 2002 and then Mercury
mahadasa. Based on Saturns planetary position, the Sudharshana Chakra Dasa will be
analyzed after 2002-April.

Since Saturn is lord of 7
th
house in D1 chart and is residing in 2
nd
house in D9 chart,
transit Saturn will play a vital role in deciding the timing of marriage event.


In July 2002, transit Saturn entered Gemini, which was natives 12
th
house where Moon
and Rahu are residing. Thus, starting July 2002, after 7.5 years, transit Saturn will be in 3
rd

house starting Dec 2009. Hence, until Dec 2009, the possibility to get married is ZERO.


#3: Dasapathi & Antaredasapathi System:

According to Dasapathi and Antardasapathi calculations;
Mercury Balance Period starts on: 1983-7-15 and ends on : 1990-7-15
Moon Balance Period starts on: 1990-7-15 and ends on : 1997-7-15
Sun Balance Period starts on: 1997-7-15 and ends on : 2004-7-15
Mercury Balance Period starts on: 2004-7-15 and ends on : 2011-7-15
Venus Balance Period starts on: 2011-7-15 and ends on : 2018-7-15
None of the above planets are cooperating the native to get married due to their positions in
D1-chart. Thus, the possibility for the native to get married until 2018-07 as per this system is
ZERO.

#4: Kalachakra Planetary Dasa System:

According to Kalachakra Planetary dasa, Moon Nakshatra is Ardra, its padha is 4. The
Deha is Mesha (Aries) and Jeeva is Dhanus (Sagittarius). In this dasa system;
Venus Dasa begins on: 1980-11-5 and ends on: 1996-11-5
Mercury Dasa begins on: 1996-11-5 and ends on: 2005-11-5
Sun Dasa begins on: 2005-11-5 and ends on: 2010-11-5

Moon Dasa begins on: 2010-11-5 and ends on: 2031-11-5
Antardasa is: Moon/Moon begins on: 2010-11-5 and ends on: 2015-4-2
Antardasa is: Moon/Mercury begins on: 2015-4-2 and ends on: 2017-2-22
Antardasa is: Moon/Venus begins on: 2017-2-22 and ends on: 2020-6-31

Based on the above information, the Moon/Venus period is the ONLY
possibility based on this dasa system.

Analying the BCP period during preferred age:

Let us first look at BCP chart between 21 and 35 years old.


Let us now look at the Cycle ruler Venus, starting the age of 24 years. Venus a Malefic, is
residing in 5
th
house with Mars (owner of 5
th
house). Venus residing in Nakshatra owned by
Saturn and Saturn being the 7
th
house lord, Venus became helpless. Thus, his whole cycle
was NOT able to initiate the possibility of the native getting married.
Analying the BSP period during preferred age:

Let us look at BSP chart between 26 and 35 years old, since the native is a male and the
possibility to get married is only after 25 years old in the society that native resides.
Between 26
th
and 27
th
Birthday (Nov 1989/1990):
o Mars implements its energy in the 10th house from where he is residing.
Since Mars is in 5
th
house (its OWN), the impact would be on 2
nd
house.
The Vimsottari dasa during this period was Jupiter/Jupiter too. Thus, this
was ONE of the BEST opportunities for the native to get married,
but for unknown reasons it was lost.
Between 27

and 28

o Saturn implements its energy in the 6th house from itself
o The Vimsottari dasa was Jupiter/Jupiter.
o The 6
th
house from Saturn is the 12
th
(pleasures of bed) house from
Lagna. Thus, Saturn obstructed the possibility for the native to get
married. Thus, this opportunity was lost.


Between 31
st
and 32
nd
o Jupiter will implement its 5th aspect in the 5th house from the place it is
located
o The Vimsottari Dasa was Jupiter/Mercury.
o The 5
th
house from Jupiter is 1
st
house, which was FULLY
AFFLICTED by Saturns direct aspect. Thus, Jupiter was helpless.
Thus, this opportunity was lost.
Analyzing the other BSP rules:

Let us analyze the other BSP rules that have impact on 2
nd
, 4
th
, 7
th
and 12
th
houses. Also,
let us re-visit the BSP rules pertaining to Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Planets in 7
th
house and Lord
of 7
th
house.
Wherever Saturn sits, at 32nd year impacts the house from itself. Thus, Saturn did not
let the native get married between his 31
st
and 32
nd
birthday.

Jupiter will implement its 9th aspect in the 9th house from the place it is located in the 40th
year of a natives life. Thus, Jupiters 9
th
aspect is on 5
th
house from lagna where
malefic Venus and Benefic Mars are residing. Thus, this was ONE of the
BEST opportunities for the native to get married, but for unknown reasons it
was lost.


Analyzing Graha Argala combinations:

Let us go more in detail the Graha Argala as per Sage Brihat (explained in BPHS).
Since Saturn will not let the native get married, Mercury (next Mahadasa ) is considered
to analyze the Argala effects.

The only possibility for the timing of marriage event is during Mercury/Venus period
(2005-09 thru 2008-05). Since both are malefic planets, the opportunity was lost.


Analyzing using Brihat Pada (BP) Methodology:

Let us go more in detail the Brihat pada System as per Sage Brihat (explained in
BPHS). It is clear that only BP2 & BP4 are cooperative, since Jupiter was the Pada Lord.
Unfortunately, the Jupiter Mahadasa completed when the native was 20 years old.

Conclusion

Thus, while predicting the timing of marriage event, it is advised to
view from all the possible angles.

One must not arrive to a conclusion based on just one methodology
of prediction.
