The Programme
The Summit Finuas Network Jobseekers
programme (JSSP) aims to provide jobseekers,
from both fnancial and non-fnancial
backgrounds with the technical knowledge to
work in Funds Administration in Ireland.
The practical classroom sessions will be
combined with workplace experience in leading
international fnancial services companies. This
work experience will not only be an excellent
addition to your CV but will also enhance your
understanding of the materials you cover in
class.
Programme Content
TECHNICAL TRAINING
Five days Funds specifc training comprising of:
n Fund Establishment and
Authorisation process
n Fund Valuation Calculation of NAV
n Alternative Investment Funds
n Regulatory and Legal Requirements
n UCITS and Non-UCITS Regulation
n Key Legal Concepts of Investment funds
n Creation and Liquidation of fund shares
n Accounting for Complex Bonds
n Overview of Derivatives
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Four Days of dedicated professional
development training:
n Interview Skills and CV Preparation
n Presentation Skills
n Project Management
n Business Report Writing
IT TRAINING
Two days of Financial Modelling using Excel
n Intermediate
n Advanced

MENTORING
One-to-One coaching session
WORK PLACEMENTS
Four to fve month work placements
(subject to interview)

The Summit Finuas Network is led by a Steering Group which
includes member companies and the leading fnancial services
industry associations, Financial Services Ireland (FSI); Irish Funds
Industry Association (IFIA); Federation of International Banks in Ireland
(FIBI); Dublin International Management and Insurance Association
(DIMA); and the Irish Association of Investment Managers (IAIM).

Entry Criteria for the Programme
Please submit a completed application form
along with a copy of your CV.
As there are a limited number of places on this
programme, places will be allocated on a frst
come frst served basis, subject to assessment
and review.
Eligibility Criteria for Jobseekers
Applicants must be unemployed for 6 months
and must be in receipt of one of the following to
be considered for the programme:
n Job-seekers Allowance (JA)
n Job-seekers Beneft (JB)
(and people signing on for credits)
Note
All other Welfare payments recipients and
those not in receipt of welfare payments should
contact the network directly or check the
eligibility criteria on our website.

The Summit Finuas network is funded by member companies and the
Finuas Networks Programme,managed by Skillnets Ltd. funded from the
National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.
Application Form
The purpose of this form is to gather profle information about
participants on programmes funded by Skillnets Ltd from the
National Training Fund through the Department of Education &
Skills (DES). Only aggregated participant data will be reported
to the DES. Separately, Skillnets will inform the Department of
Social Protection (DSP) about the attendance of individuals in
receipt of income support from DSP on short courses (i.e. 20
days or less). This is part of an arrangement with the Department
which supports the participation of its clients on Skillnets
programmes.
Summit Finuas Network will comply with all applicable data
protection legislation in respect of the information and personal
data provided by you in this form. You have the right of access
to the data by means of a written request and you can request
Summit Finuas Network to correct any inaccuracies in the data.
Skillnets Ltd. periodically conducts surveys to evaluate the
quality and impact of the programmes delivered by its training
networks. As a result, you may be contacted in future and asked
to participate in such a survey.
