Islam is to surrender to Allah (SWT) with Tawheed, Submit to Allah (SWT) with to renounce shirk and the people
of shirk
This is the only legitimate definition, any other is wrong
Islam is the only religion acceptable to Allah (SWT) on the day of judgement
Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not
differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the
Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to
account.
(Aali Imran 3:19)
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter, he
will be one of the losers.
Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon
him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the
Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
(Al-Baiyinah 98:6)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: By Him in Whose
hand is the life of Muhammad, any Christian or Jew who heard about me and died whilst rejecting me,
such a person is in the hell fire to abide there for ever.
The Murji claim that Christians and Jews can enter paradise and quote 2:62
Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in
Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them
shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve .
(Al-Baqarah 2:62)
Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon
him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the
Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
(Al-Baiyinah 98:6)
When the Murji quotes 2:62 and use it to give hope to Christians and Jews, always remember to quote them
Surah 98:6
It refers to the Christians and Jews who lived at the time of Moses (AS) and Jesus (AS), not those today.
Those who live today heard the name Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), and reject him, their destiny will
be in Hellfire to abide forever because of the following hadith:
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "By Him in Whose
hand is the life of Muhammad, any Christian or Jew who heard about me and died whilst rejecting me,
such a person is in the hell fire to abide there forever."
[Sahih Muslim (1/134) No. 153 and Musnad Ahmad (2/350) No. 8594]
On the authority of Abu Abdul Rahmaan Abdullah (RA), the son of Umar ibn al-Kattaab (RA) who said: I
heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: "Islam is built upon five [pillars]: testifying that there is none
worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayers,
giving zakat, making pilgrimage to the House and fasting the month of Ramadan.
The holy prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "The difference between a Muslim and a Kafir is in the
Salah"
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Zubair that he heard Jabir b. 'Abdullah saying. I heard the
Messenger of Allah (May peace and blessings be upon him) observing this: Between man, polytheism,
and unbelief is the abandonment of salat.
If a person misses some salah he is not a Kafir, the real Kafir is the person who abandons Salah totally
But if they repent, perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat, then they are your brethren in
religion. (In this way) We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in
detail for a people who know.
(At-Tawbah 9:11)
(Al-Muddaththir 74:42-48)
Hawiya is the lowest Hell, the hypocrites will be there
Yaqin is death
The Hanbalis will quote these Ayahs to say "if you don't pray you become Kafir" a Hanafi says if you don't pray
you are still Muslim. In order for a man to go to Hell, he has to abandon Salah... (All four things)
In order to be in Saqar
The Hanbalis explain the reason why abandoning salah was mentioned first because it was the biggest crime
The people of Abu Bakr (RA) used to pray Salah, why did he kill them as Kuffar and take their women as right
hand possessed.
(Salah, zakah, talk rubbish, deny day or resurrection) Hanafis say you have to commit all four to be considered
as Kafir
Abdullah ibn Shaqiq Uqayli (RA) reported, saying The companions of Muhummad (SAW) did not regard
neglect of any of the deeds as disbelief as they did (neglect) of Salah."
[Sunan Tirmidhi (5/14) No. 2622 and Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/48) No. 12 who said it met the conditions of
al-Bukhari and Muslim]
The Ijma of the Sahabas says if you don't pray you become Kafir
In Medina, even the hypocrites used to pray, because if they don't their cover would be exposed
They were so skilful in hiding their hypocrisy that the angel Gabriel was sent to tell the prophet (Sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam) to tell him who the hypocrites were
The prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) could not tell who they were
Umar (RA), asked the prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) permission to kill the hypocrites
" Upon that `Umar said, "O Allah's Prophet! Shall we not kill this evil person (i.e. `Abdullah bin Ubai bin
Salul)?" The Prophet) said, "(No), lest the people should say that Muhammad used to kill his
companions."'
It was halal to kill hypocrites, but not everything, which is halal, is wise to do
A brother in UK divorced his wife, its halal for a woman to divorce one man and marry another who is his brother.
but no Muslim woman would do that not every halal action is good to do
when our desires control us, we are beneath the level of the cattle
Sahl ibn Sa'd reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "There is a gate in the Garden called ar-Rayyan
which those who fast will enter on the Day of Rising, and none but they will enter it." It will be said,
'Where are the fasters?' They will stand up and none but they will enter it. When they have entered it, it
will be closed and no one else will enter it."
Abu Huraira (RA) reported the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said By Him in Whose Hand the soul of
Muhammad is, the breath of one observing Saum is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. The
one who fasts, experiences two joys: he feels pleasure when he breaks the fast. He is joyful by virtue of
his fast when he meets his Rubb."
Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said: "The fast and the Qur'an are two
intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: 'O Lord, I prevented
him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'I prevented
him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.' And their intercession will be accepted."
[Musnad Ahmad (2/174) No. 6626, Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/740) No. 2036, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi
(3/378) No. 1839]
FOURTH PORTION: SADAQA (CHARITY)
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah At Tawbah verse: 64
The hypocrites fear lest a Surah (chapter of the Qur'an) should be revealed about them, showing them
what is in their hearts. Say: "(Go ahead and) mock! But certainly Allah will bring to light all that you fear."
(At-Tawbah 9:64)
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: "Indeed charity extinguishes the
Lord's anger and it protects against the evil death."
[Sunan Tirmidhi (3/43) No. 664]
On the authority of Muadh bin Jabal (RA) who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me of an act which
will take me into Paradise and will keep me away from the Hellfire." He (SAW) said, charity wipes away
sin as water extinguishes fire;
[Sunan Tirmidhi (5/11) No. 2616, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/116) No. 3973, Musnad Ahmad (5/231) No. 22069]
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah At Tawbah verse 54
And nothing prevents their contributions from being accepted from them except that they disbelieved in
Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW); and that they came not to As-Salat (the prayer) except in
a lazy state; and that they offer not contributions but unwillingly.
(At-Tawbah 9:54)
They were recalcitrant in establishing salah.
FIFTH PORTION: HIJRA (Migration)
Darul al Kufr is land of Kuffar, where they don't oppress Muslims; any Kafir country where Muslims are not
oppressed, it is Darul al Kufr.
in the time of the prophet Ethiopia was Darul al Kufr, Makkah was Darul al Harb
Narrated By Majashi: I took my brother to the Prophet after the Conquest (of Mecca) and said, "O Allah's
Apostle! I have come to you with my brother so that you may take a pledge of allegiance from him for
migration." The Prophet said, The people of migration (i.e. those who migrated to Medina before the
Conquest) enjoyed the privileges of migration (i.e. there is no need for migration anymore)." I said to the
Prophet, "For what will you take his pledge of allegiance?" The Prophet said, "I will take his pledge of
allegiance for Islam, Belief, and for Jihad (i.e. fighting in Allah's Cause)"
[Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith #598]
Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed
among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them) :
"In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say:
"Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their
abode in Hell - What an evil destination! Except the weak ones among men, women and children who
cannot devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way.
(An-Nisa 4:97-98)
On the authority of Jarir, bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) sent a military expedition to
Khath'am. So some people (living there) sought safety by prostrating, but they were met quickly and
killed. News of this reached the Prophet (SAW) upon which he commanded that they be given half of the
'Aql (blood money). And he said: "I am free from every Muslim that lives among the idolaters." They
said: "O Messenger of Allah: How is that?" He said: "They should not see each other's campfires."
[Sunan Tirmidhi (4/155) No. 1604 and Sunan Abu Dawud (3/45) No. 2645]
On the authority of Jarir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "I am free from every
Muslim that lives among the idolaters." They said: "O Messenger of Allah: How is that?" He said: "They
should not see each other's campfires."
[Sunan Tirmidhi (4/155) No. 1604 and Sunan Abu Dawud (3/45) No. 2645]
The land you live in its affects you.
Shaykh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) said, The state of a place reflects the state of a person. It is possible
to be sometimes a Muslim and at other times a disbeliever; sometimes sincere and at other times
hypocritical; sometimes good and pious and at other times rotten and corrupt. Thus, a person becomes
like the place of his abode. The migration of a person from a land of disbelief and profanity to one of
faith and probity is an expression of repentance and of his turning away from disobedience and
perversion to belief and obedience. This is so until the Day of Resurrection.
[Majmual-Fatawa, (18/284)]
When you live in Darul al Harb, land of the enemy, some times you are Muslim or Kafir, some times you are
sincere some times insincere.
Many people have become evil personified because of the land they live in. Including Europe and America
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying: There was a person before you who had killed ninetynine persons and then made an inquiry about the learned persons of the world (who could show him the way to salvation).
He was directed to a monk. He came to him and told him that he had killed ninety-nine persons and asked him whether
there was any scope for his repentance to be accepted. He said: No. He killed him also and thus completed one hundred.
He then asked about the learned persons of the earth and he was directed to a scholar, and he told him that he had killed
one hundred persons and asked him whether there was any scope for his repentance to be accepted. He said: Yes; what
stands between you and the repentance? You better go to such and such land; there are people devoted to prayer and
worship and you also worship along with them and do not come to the land of yours since it was an evil land (for you). So
he went away and he had hardly covered half the distance when death came to him and there was a dispute between the
angels of mercy and the angels of punishment. The angels of mercy said: This man has come as a penitent and remorseful
to Allah and the angels of punishment said: He has done no good at all. Then there came another angel in the form of a
human being in order to decide between them. He said: You measure the land to which he has drawn near. They measured
it and found him nearer to the land where he intended to go (the land of piety), and so the angels of mercy took possession
of it. Qatada said that Hasan told him that it was said to them that as death approached him, he crawled upon his chest
(and managed) to slip in the land of mercy.
Ibn Hazm (rh) states that: Whoever joins the land of war and disbelief, of his own free will and in
defiance of whoever amongst the Muslims calls him to his side, is by virtue of this act an apostate, by all
the laws of apostasy, in Islam. Whoever is able to kill him must do so. His property is unprotected, his
marriage null and void, all his rights are swept away.
On the authority of Ibn Abbas (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "There is no migration (after
the Conquest), but Jihad and good intentions, and when you are called for Jihad, you should
immediately respond to the call."
The above mentioned hadith of Ibn Abbas (RA), Makkah has fallen and has become an Islamic state
It is no longer Darul al Harb it has become Darul al Islam because it's been conquered, therefore there is no
need to migrate from Makkah to Medina anymore.
DEFINITION OF JIHAD:- is to wage war against the Kuffar, to spread La illaha Il Allah wa Muhammad
Rasulullah
FSA in Syria, they are not doing Jihad those who die fighting for FSA, they are in Hellfire to abide forever,
because they died for democracy; democracy is shirk, it's the religion of shaitaan
those who fight for tribalism, nationalism, racism, regionalism, they only commit suicide to be in Hellfire forever
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: One who fights under the banner of a
people who are blind to the cause for which they are fighting, (i.e. do not know whether their cause is
just or unjust) who get flared up with Asabya, calls people to fight for their Asabiya. And supports his
kith and kin (i.e. fights not for the cause of Allah but for the sake of his asabiyya) if he is killed (in this
fight) he dies as one belonging to the days of Jahiliyiah (the pre-Islamic days of ignorance).
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) said: One who died but did not fight in the way of Allah nor did he express any desire (or
determination) for Jihad died the death of a hypocrite.
[Sahih Muslim (1910) & Muslim: Book 33 hadith 226, Book 20, Hadith 4696]
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 216
Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be
that you dislike a thing, which is good for you and that you like a thing, which is bad for you. Allah
knows but you do not know.
(Al-Baqarah 2:216)
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah At Tawbah Verse 29
Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has
been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e.
Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing
submission, and feel themselves subdued.
(At-Tawbah 9:29)
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah Al Nahl verse 126
And if you punish (your enemy, O you believers in the Oneness of Allah), then punish them with the like
of that with which you were afflicted. But if you endure patiently, verily, it is better for As-Sabirin (the
patient ones, etc.).
(An-Nahl 16:126)

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 194
The sacred month is for the sacred month, and for the prohibited things, there is the Law of Equality
(Qisas). Then whoever transgresses the prohibition against you, you transgress likewise against him.
And fear Allah, and know that Allah is with Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2).
(Al-Baqarah 2:194)
Uthaymeen (RA) has use surah Al Baqarah to refute the divert
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran surah Al Nahl verse 39
And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides
Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world[]]. But if they cease
(worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.
(Al-Anfal 8:39)
Allah (SWT) said in Quran surah Al Anfal verse 60
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify
the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah
knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be
wronged.
(Al-Anfal 8:60) Sahih international
Shaykh Bin Baaz allowing matyrdon operations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJFVZ1VjuLk
Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'ruf (i.e.
Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and
disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.
You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his
Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e.
Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all
that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and
Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most
of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command).
And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do
wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allah is Severe in punishment.
(Al-Anfal 8:25)
DESTROYED TOWNSHIP
On the authority of Abu Umar who said: Allah sent two angels to destroy a township with a natural
disaster, but when they got there they found a man praying in the mosque. They went back to Allah and
said: 'O Allah we found a man praying in the mosque.' Allah said to the two angels: 'Go back and destroy
the township with that man as well because not once did he ever frown when he saw the people
indulging in haram.'
Nu`man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The likeness of
the man who observes the limits prescribed by Allah and that of the man who transgresses them is like
the people who get on board a ship after casting lots. Some of them are in its lower deck and some of
them in its upper (deck). Those who are in its lower (deck), when they require water, go to the occupants
of the upper deck, and say to them : `If we make a hole in the bottom of the ship, we shall not harm you.'
If they (the occupants of the upper deck) leave them to carry out their design they all will be drowned.
But if they do not let them go ahead (with their plan), all of them will remain safe".
Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture) : "Shall I inform you of something worse than
that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath,
those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Taghut (false
deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hellfire), and far more astray from the
Right Path (in the life of this world)."
(Al-Ma'idah 5:60)
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah bepleased with him) reported: "O you people! You recite this Verse: 'O
you who believe! Take care of your own selves. If you follow the (right) guidance [and enjoin what is
right (Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbid what is wrong (polytheism,
disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden)] no hurt can come to you from those who are in error.' (5:105)
saying: "When people see an oppressor but do not prevent him ( )But I have heard Messenger of Allah
".from (doing evil), it is likely that Allah will punish them all
[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].
