THE BRUSHING MOUTHGUARD
INTRODUCTION
Form anicent to now, human beings always take care their oral health (Dentistry, 2014), it is
very pleasant they pay attention on it. However, modern people are busier and busier on
their living so that oral health care is been scomed day after day. As we know, our mouth is
of the hole that need to touch with enternal which is full of germ and virus. If we do not pay
attentaion on our oral health, the issue will happen. To dental health issue, it can cause
horrible effect like stroke, diabetes and cardiovascular disease etc. Therefor, I believe
focusing on oral health is a way to prevent kinds of diease happen from ourselve because of
the potential possibliity that can be happened by oral health issue.
3. BUSINESS SECTION
3.1 Vision
Help people with their oral health by not influencing their rhythm of life. Give the biggest
protection to your oral.
3.2 Industry Analysis: Oral industry
Industry: Oral industry. This industry is all about focusing customers oral. Make your mouth
cleanly so that protect your body.
Force: High/Low: Justification:
Buyer power: High Customers can find similar product in the market.
Therefore, customers have many choice they can
choose rather than focus on one. For example,
the market has many type of toothpaste (List of
toothpaste brands, 2014).

Supplier power: Low The power of supplier is low because of the lack
of oral health product in New Zealand. All of the
product is material such as toothbrush or
chemical like mirabilitum praeparatum.
Threat of new entrants: High It is easy to entry as the product is easy to made.
Our product need to use mouth guard which is
cheap, and made a mouth guard from dentist
only cost one minutes. Eventhough the inside
technology will be a little bit complex, overall, it is
a simple product(Allsportsguards, 2012).
Threat of substitutes: High There are many type of oral health care in the
world. Some is faced on teeth, some is face on
gum or tongue, some is protected by physical and
some is by chemical etc. For example, toothbrush
amd toothpaste, mouth wash(Wikipedia, 2014)
and floss etc.
Rivalry among existing
competitors:
Low In New Zealand, dentist is one of a serious lack
job which means the product relate to dentist is
low because of the rule of complements.
Overall attractiveness of the industry: Oral care industry will be a attractive industry. One
way, this industry can improve the situation that customers need to go to see dentist often
or business man who always need business trips so that they are unable to keep visiting
dentist eventhough they have tooch decay. The other way is increased the job needs in New
Zealand. This industry need data collector and distribute as the dentist can not or not time
to do that. Therefore, more employees are need, it can improve New Zealand current

situation that most people are not willing to go see dentist eventhough they have tooth
decay or worse problem.
3.3 Customers and Thei r Needs
The need of our customers are the product that saving time and also efficient cleaning their
teeth without complex steps. According to daily teeth cleaning, people are not fully cleaning
their by toothbrush. The problem is when people use toothbrush, it is difficult to
comprehensivly brush your teeth. Therefore, peoples teeth is not fully clearly enough. The
other problem is time people spend on brushing their teeth. Normally, we need as least 3
minutes to brush our teeth(Rebecca Desfosse, 2014). But the reality is people are busy on
their school life or working, they do not spend enough time on brushing their teeth.
Therefore, they need our product to solve the problem.
Therefor, our product want to target all people. Nobody should leave behind of their oral
health problem, everyone should care about their oral health.
3.4 The Product and Service
Our product focus on saving times and simplify the process of cleaning teeth. It saves the
time by automatic brush teeth, what customers need to do is just out our product one their
mouth and close, then press the buttom, that is. After that, our product scan customers
teeth and upload the information to the dentist office that this customer register(Rebecca
Desfosse, 2014).
Also, if the dentist finds your oral has potential problem, they will call you as soon as
possible. If you worry about your oral health, you can call to the dentist office, we will
provide some trained employees to help you to solve your problem. If you want to know
about your oral situation online, just type the code which is on our product to our website.
3.5 Suppliers and Partners
One of our supply will be bristles and filaments what we use it into the mouthguard. Then,
the suppplier is DuPont which is famous at their quality of product. For example, DuPont
designs different types of filaments. The shape of round, rectangular and diamond. The

unique textures of feathered (DuPont, 2004)., embossed and wavy. It is very confident that
DuPont can produce suitable item to us.
Our partner will be local dentist. Our pruduct is keep connecting to dentist work which
means our product will lose meaning if we dont have dentist as an analysts.
3.6 Strategy: Differentiation
Our produce will force on everyone because we care about their oral health. Our product
will provide two tpyes. One is customer goes to the dentist to make a mouthguard , then we
will design your personal mouthguard cleaner. This one is for the custoemr who want a high
quality product and it will take more money. The other one is to find the most suitable
mouthguard to you by using our database then create quantitative products. It is much
cheaper then personally make one.
The overall strategy is therefore Differentiation strategy

The most important value chain activity for this business is Make the product and service.
The product is small but the technique and material combination is never going to be easy.
Therefore, we need to focus on the producting making and service.

CONCLUSION
Our product is focused on saving time, easy, efficiency and safty. By using information
system and information technology such as DSS, CMS and TPS to reach the standard of our
need. Our product saves time from brush teeth to keep up with modern social style, the
customers will feel happy on that. And we make a benfit on it.
