Japan: Changing Social Systems Poster

Instructions: You will be assigned groups that you will be working with. Your
group will have no more than 5 people. In your group you will decide based on
page 207 of chapter 6 who will cover which group: Daimyo, Samurai,
Commoners, or Farmers. If you have a fifth member of your group you will also
cover the Education system on pages 208-209.

Step 1: Meet for 3 minutes with your group members to look at pages 207-209 and
decided which group you are covering.

Step 2: You will be given an 8 ½ x 11 piece of white paper that you will have to write
step 3 information on.

Step 3: Return to your own seat. You are responsible for writing 3 points on your
poster about your Daimyo, Samurai, Commoners, Farmers or the Education system.
You must also draw 3 pictures to accompany the points you have made, picture
should be neat and colored.

Step 4: Return to your groups of 4 or 5 people assemble your poster with tape into a
grid with each part showing. Take notes on each using the back of this sheet.

Step 5: Hand in your poster with this sheet, make sure your name is on your poster.
