As part of the FMMD team, inspectors are assigned to inspect a specific maintenance
discipline area, which include Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical systems,
reporting to the Condition Assessment Survey Manager.
I did all the architectural, structural, civil, asbestos, and lead inspections. I
am very adept at negotiating access to project areas, managing security
constraints, and skilled at meeting all regulatory and safety requirements. I
consistently executed the inspection process from beginning to end--
interacting with facility coordinators, reporting on project needs and following
up to assess implementation of recommendations. In addition, I took the
initiative to assist the Architectural/Civil maintenance team with the safe
pathway and fences & gates inventory projects.

As part of the MPD team, painters are given project assignments and must evaluate
the project, do cost and product estimates and scheduling prior to executing the
paint project including preparation, painting, and clean-up.
As Lead Painter, I was assigned a wide variety of painting projects, ranging
from building interiors and exteriors of all types of substrates to special Lab
projects. I performed lead and asbestos abatement as needed and followed
all OSHA/LLNL safety regulations. I have extensive experience painting in
“clean rooms” requiring specialized industrial coatings and painting labs,
trailers, mechanical structures, industrial units, and roofing plus spraying in
shop spray booth, water and sandblasting, road-striping, and taping and
texturing.
