Chapter No. 57 - Vote On Dues Increase June 17
In April Excellent High Priest Seymour called a meeting of the Finance Committee
for Chapter #57. The purpose was to discuss the unpopular subject of the need for
a dues increase. Currently our dues are $25.00 per member per year, out of that we
pay $17.00 per member to the New Carlisle Masonic Association for rent and our
Grand Chapter dues are $8.00 per member. As you can see after we pay our rent and
Grand Chapter dues, there isnt any operating capital. It has been proposed we
increase our annual dues from $25.00 to $35.00 starting with next years dues billing.
We will vote on the dues increase at our June 17 Stated meeting. All members are
th
encouraged to attend this important meeting.
Prior to our Annual Meeting in June we will have a Lasagna dinner a 6 PM, complete
with salad and garlic bread. Hope to see you there!
