The story of Alpine Club

began with an ambitious aim :

With a clear vision, an explicit positioning and pre-
mium products we will become the most successful
brand for outdoor articles from Europe.
This was the goal set by Jean-Luc Bgli, a fisherman
and enthusiast of diverse outdoor activities himself,
when he launched his outdoor line of clothing. Taking
as his yardstick values such as reliability, quality,
innovation and sustainability, which stand for
Switzerland and differ from normal clothing while
being affordable, he gave it the name Alpine Club

Switzerland.
Refined detailed solutions, straight lines and colours
as well as a careful choice and manufacturing of the
materials were the requirements that Alpine Club

felt
committed to from the very beginning.
From the pioneering spirit of the first hour, not only
did a philosophy evolve which challenges the team of
Alpine Club

every day anew, but also meanwhile

since 2005 an officially registered club where outdoor
friends can exchange their experiences.
It was from the start the obligation of Alpine Club

to
meet these requirements with deep roots and values
at all times, and we have been fulfilling it for years
with a wide range of outdoor products so that the
company emerged from a small one-man trading
business to one of the most important brands in the
global outdoor market.
Today, Alpine Club

is an international brand that is

loved by those who attach great importance not only
to the excellent quality of the materials but also to a
trendy outfit.
All products are developed and produced by Jean-
Luc Bgli in person or by well-known designers
according to high quality features. The same applies
to the Swiss Made watches which are produced in a
family-owned factory. The seal of approval Swiss
Made stands for the excellent quality of Swiss pro-
ducts. Supported by an innovative team of designers
in collaboration with dedicated watch manufacturers,
a special outdoor collection was conceptualised. Our
customers appreciate the high quality at reasonable
prices and consistently put their confidence in the
Alpine Club

watches.
The same quality yardsticks are used for those pro-
ducts which cannot be produced 100 % in
Switzerland due to diverse reasons; among others
because there are no suppliers with the necessary
manufacturing machines who are able to provide the
required quality and quantity.
Commodities such as sunglasses and luggage ranges
which have to be partly produced abroad are likewise
finished in Switzerland and are meticulously control-
led piece by piece according to the required highest
quality at the headquarters and quite often by the
CEO personally in spite of the respectable size of the
company.
For reasons of consistent quality no worldwide
licences are assigned, despite numerous requests in
order to be able to keep the control over the brand in
future ourselves so that you can rely on purchasing
top-class quality at any time. Development, manufac-
turing and distribution are effected solely via the
Swiss head office and the collections are sold in over
500 exclusive speciality shops worldwide.
It is our intention to send our Alpine Club

assort-
ments into the world to enable you to make use of
