1. Tell me about yourself.

I am Mohd Hazwan Bin Jamhuri. I am final year student of Bachelor of Degree

Mechanical Engineering at UiTM Shah Alam. As a final year student, I need to
complete my final year project which relating to robotics, which is focusing on
Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). Or specifically the Analysis of Social Interaction
between Autistic Children with the humanoid robot.

In July 2013, I had gone through three-month industrial training at Baxtech
Resources Sdn Bhd in oil and gas industry. As we know oil and gas industry is a
wide industry. Therefore, this company is focusing on two major engineering task
which are pipeline services and hook-up and commissioning for onshore and
offshore. During my internship, I gained a lot of knowledge relating to pipeline
and HUC. I learned about the operation of HUC such as operation flow from the
beginning until the task is complete. I also familiarized with pipeline drawing.
The engineer also allows me to complete the MTR. I also had been sent to the
yard or fabrication site for a site visit and assist the yards supervisor for
documentation task. Here, I learned certain equipment for NDT.

2. What experience do you have in this field?

If you ask about my experience in this field, honestly, I admit that I only have
basic knowledge about this field. Basic knowledge does not mean that I cannot
fulfil this job requirement. I remember my lecturer's words, Dr David said there
is nothing cannot be learned. Therefore, I believe that I can give a great deal to
your company. Give me a chance and time to prove myself.

3. Do you consider yourself successful?

Of course, I am. If I want it, then I will try to get it. I have met some and on track to
achieve the others. My goals right now is to bring my research to the conference.
InsyaaAllah, with the help of my supervisor, he will try to keep me on track to
bring me to present my paper to the conference.

4. Why do you want to work for this company?

Your company is well-known company and of course your finance also should be
stable. This is an opportunity and a chance to do something special for me to
build up my career for my fresh entry into engineering. Your professional and
expert manpower will help me to sharpen my skill; analytical and hand-tool skill.



5. What kind of salary do you need?

Can you tell me the range for this job? For me, it can depends on the details of the
job.

6. How long do you expect to work with us if hired?

I would it be a long time. Or as along as we both feel I am doing a good job.

7. What is your philosophy towards work?

Work is my life and my life is for work as well as for the company / the company
is everything.

8. Why should we hire you?

As a fresh entry, I cannot say that you should hire me because of my experience.
Even I had gone through for three-month industrial training. It does not mean
that my experience in oil and gas is a strong reason for you to hire me for this
position. But according to my capabilities, I can assure that you will never regret
to hire me since I have good qualities and meet the qualification, self-motivated
and quick learner. I will never back away from any kind of problem and I will try
to keep me on track to accomplish the goal of the project. I will make a great
effort because I want to be a successful part of a successful company.

9. Why do you think you are suitable for this position?

Of course, with my lack of experience I am not overqualified for this position, but
I am qualified and I will try to meet all the requirement for this position. As for
me, there is nothing cannot be learned.

10. What is more important to you; the money or work?

Money is always important, but the work is the most important. There is no
better answer.

11. Do you have any question for me?

May I know what is the biggest project that your company deal with? So that I
may understand and know more about your companys project and will make
myself prepared before entering industrial field as a fresh graduate.
