Steps
Category One
Early-to-growth Stage:
startups with revenue and/or significant number of users or customers.
Category Two
Concept and Prototype Stage:
startups with concept and prototype and no revenue.

This year the competition is open to applicants from two categories:
Category One
Early-to-growth stage startups with revenue and/or significant number of users or customers:
An innovative, high impact, scalable and sustainable business
With at least two to three years track record of going to market
An early to growth stage venture with revenue or with significant numbers of users/customers
Aim to develop business globally with the intent to establish an Asian/Greater China office in Hong Kong
Demonstrate positive economic, social and/or environmental impact
Category Two
Startups with concept and prototype and no revenue:
An innovative, impactful, scalable and sustainable concept and business model
With a feasible concept and prototype which can be commercialised and/or scaled globally or have the
possibility to reach out to significant numbers of users/customers
Aim to use Hong Kong as their launch pad to grow their business globally

9 winners will be shortlisted from Category One, and 3 from Category Two
A five-day programme in Hong Kong for the 12 winners
The 12 winners to attend a forum with pitching sessions where 3 Grand Award Winners
will be selected by the judging panel and audience
