motivation and inspiration to u especially to those who need it most.during this days..and Allah is the best of Planners and source of strength) Whenever a person faces hardship, its easy for him/her to give up and walk away from their challenges or complain and blame those around him/her. They fall into depression, feel sad about their situation and feel powerless. They dont understand why this is happening to them or what they did to deserve this. But for the pious and productive Muslim, his/ her way of thinking is completely different. Whenever they faces hardship, he/she takes a step back from their difficult situation and thinks about it from a higher level. They step back from their life with all its worries, anxieties, problems, and thinks about it from an Akhira perspective, then they ask themselves the question: what does this ALL mean when compared to the Hereafter? What does this ALL mean when compared to eternity in Jannah? One of the main misunderstanding we all have in this life is that if we do good, we should get good in this life and hereafter. This is not entirely true. This life is not the life well get justice in. If this was the case, there would be no need for a Day of Judgement or Akhira. This life is a life of duality; theres good and bad, justice and injustice, mercy and oppression, love and hate, truth and falsehood..etc. Your role in this life is to live your life according to how Allah (Subhanahu WaTala) asked you to do, seeking His pleasure, avoiding His anger. And Allah (Subhanahu WaTala) promises you in many places in the Qur'an, that if you do just that, Hell give you a good life. Allah says in the Holy Quran: Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions. (Surat Al-Nahl: verse 97) He that is righteous and patient,- never will Allah suffer the reward to be lost, of those who do right. (Surat Yusof, Verse 90) During times of hardship, its essential to remember there are effective ways to deal with any difficulty. Here are practical steps to help you and me face any difficult situation..In shaa' Allah.. *SALAAH- >>> Make sure you stick to praying on time 5 times a day. Never miss a salaah and do your best to pray each Salaah ON TIME with SINCERITY as if its your last salaah in this world. The Prophet once said that in prayer, he would find rest and relief (Nasai). He would also regularly ask for Gods forgiveness and remain in prostration during prayer praising God (Tasbeeh) and asking for His forgiveness. (Bukhari). *READ QUR'AN->>> This Quran is so beautiful that no matter what difficulties you face youll find solace in it. Subhan Allah!!.. *MAKE DU'A- >>> Especially the du'a for removing anxiety. Ask Him as much as you possibly can. Ask Him... He ALWAYS Listens..turn each anxiety, each fear and each concern into a Du'a (supplication). Look at it as another reason to submit to God and be in Sajdah (prostration), during which you are closest to Allah. God listens and already knows what is in your heart, but He wants you to ask Him for what you want. The Prophet Salaalahu alayhi wa Salam said: Allah is angry with those who do not ask Him for anything. (Tirmidhi). DO DIKHR- >>> Without doubt in the remembrance (dikhr) of Allah do hearts find tranquility." (Quran 13:28). Allah also says; "Remember Me, and I shall remember you; be grateful to Me, and deny Me not" (Quran 2:152). When your heart feels heavy with stress or grief, remember Allah and surround yourself with His dikhr. Dikhr refers to all forms of the remembrance of Allah, including Salat, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, Tahleel, making supplication (Dua). *GIVE SADAQAH- >>> Give lots of charity, as much as you can, because it helps push away hardship. And if you cant give money, even kind words or physical sadaqah can do (i.e. helping people physically or emotionally). *SET GOALS and HAVE VISION- >>> Dont let shaytaan play with you and keep replaying the video of your hardship in your mind over and over again, move on! Set new goals, new projects, and find a Islamic social life, make friends to those who you think are pious Muslims to help you increase your Imaan and helps you get closer to Allah and always remember youre with Allah, nothing should stop you! SEEK HELP THROUGH SAB'R- >>> Seek help through Sabr and Salaat.(Quran 2:45). This instruction from Allah provides us with two critical tools that can ease our worries and pain. Patience and prayer are two oft- neglected stressbusters. Sabr is often translated as patience but it is not just that. It includes self-control, perseverance, endurance, and a focused struggle to achieve ones goal. Unlike patience, which implies resignation, the concept of Sabr includes a duty to remain steadfast to achieve your goals despite all odds. WAKE UP EARLY- >>> Wake up before fajr and work on your ideas and projects, or simply read Quran. Getting busy before day break is a definite way to move away from your hardship and overcome challenges. Get most of your ideas/work done in these early hours, these are blessed hours. RELYING ON ALLAH: Tawakkul- >>> When you awaken in the morning, thank Allah for giving you life after that short death called sleep. When you step out of your home, say 'in Your Name Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no power or force except with Allah.' Once you have established a plan you intend to follow through on to deal with a specific issue or problem in your life, put your trust in the most Wise and the All-Knowing. "When you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah" (Quran 3: 159). Rely on Allah by constantly remembering Him throughout your day. When you lay down to sleep, remember that sleep is death. That is why one of the recommended supplications before going to sleep is "with Your (Allah) Name I die and become alive." HARDSHIP IS NOT LOST- >>> Remember, Allah ta'ala will never forget the injustice/hardship you faced, so dont worry about seeking revenge or trying to get justice.. Consider the hadith of Rasoolullah (SAW) told to us by Suhaib in which Rasoolullah (SAW) said, The affair of the believer is amazing! The whole of his life is beneficial, and that is only in the case of the believer. When good times come to him, he is thankful and it is good for him, and when bad times befall him, he is patient and it is also good for him (narrated by Muslim). Indeed, we all fall sick, get into accidents, or are sadden at times of despair. However, the believer easily overcomes such hardships. Rasoolullah (SAW) said that, When the believer is afflicted with pain, even that of a prick of a thorn or more, God forgives his sins (narrated by Bukhari) In the end, I pray that Allah (Subhanahu WaTala) removes all your ordeals and hardships, blesses you all with a good life and helps you remember Him day and night, for Verily, with remembrance of Allah, do hearts find rest. (Surah Ar-Rad , verse 28) I ask Allah to give us the strength, perseverance, and patience in any trial, shower us with His mercy, and reward us all in our good deeds for His sake ALONE. Ameen. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Aalamin..Subhanaka Allahumma Wa Bihamdika Ashadu Anla Illaha Illah Anta astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilaik.
