PREAMBLE:
The Government had extended the benefi t of 2006 UGC/AICTE/ICAR
Scal es of pay to vari ous categori es of Teachers who weLe covered by the 1996
UGC/AICTE/ICAR scal es ofpay from i -l -2006 and i n some cases from dates
subsequent t o 1- 1- 2006 but bef ol e l - 4- 2012.
As per the pol i cy of the Goveml nent, the Pensi on of the Teachers on
UGC/AICTE/ICAR scal es ofpay i s regul ated by the State Government orders.
The questi on of revi si on of Pensi on/ Farni l y Pensi on i n respect of
Teachers on 1996 UGC/AICTE/ICAR Scal es ofpay who have reti red/di ed on
or after I-l -2006 but bel bre 1-4-2012 pl i or to getti ng the benefi t of2006
