BRIEF REQUIREMENTS
Close to GA Terminal and adjacent to the apron, a hangar will be provided to shelter a
combination of aircraft nose in and tail in as well, as follows:
1 Code C with 5 Code B
The Hangar itself is intended for aircraft parking and light on-line maintenance operations. This
hangar shall not accommodate heavy Maintenance nor Painting activities.
The location of this facility shall allow for easy access to the General Aviation area itself
Workshops, storage, technical rooms and staff facilities for light maintenance operation
purpose shall be housed inside a concrete superstructure surrounding the hangar.
An access on one facade will allow pusher-vehicle to push out Code C aircrafts
The hangar shall be provided to accommodate 1 type C plus 5 type B aircraft within one wide
spanned hangar (hangar bay width clearance of 43 meters). The hangar bay height clearance
shall be 14 meters in order to allow the Type C and B aircraft to enter the hangar.

BRIEF REQUIREMENTS
This hangar shall be provided with all the following facilities and equipments in order to carry
out light maintenance:
Storage for spare parts
Storage for tools
Various workshops
Technical Rooms for MEP
Staff facilities (sanitary lockers/showers etc)
Shaded parking area for the Ground Service Equipment
Overhead crane suspended to the hangar roof inside the building with a 2.5 T capacity and a
clearance height of 14m will be required
Pits in order to fulfil the necessary daily maintenance
No storage for hazardous and dangerous goods will be allowed inside the building
It is assumed that no heavier maintenance than Check A will be carried out in the hangar
either at the opening day of at the Ultimate Phase (Phase 3). It is therefore considered that
neither docking systems nor fixed mezzanine at the nose of the aircraft will be needed.
The work shall cover the buildings and the external works, i.e. roads, access, walkways, parking
(all car parking shall be shaded), landscaping, fencing, gates, check points and equipment and
the related utilities.

A Check
This is performed approximately every 500 - 800 flight hours.
It is usually done overnight at an airport gate.
The actual occurrence of this check varies by aircraft type, the cycle count
(takeoff and landing is considered an aircraft "cycle"), or the number of hours
flown since the last check.
The occurrence can be delayed by the airline if certain predetermined
conditions are met.
