Muslims are beginning the annual fast of Ramadan. For a month they will abstain from eating and other pleasures between
dawn and dusk, read through the Koran, and prayall in hopes of having good standing with Allah. But they an never
know if their efforts are enough and annot approah their god. !ray that they may "uestion this and seek true salvation.#

NIGRI!: A student asks for prayer for $os, %igeria, where he pastors. &his ity of nearly ' million lies on a plateau
in entral %igeria, and on an invisible line dividing the ()hristian* south from the (Muslim* north. &he story goes that
early missionaries ould not pronoune the name of this tin+mining village, ,wosh, and dubbed it $-., an aronym
for ($esus -ur .aviour.* $os has been a hub for )hristian missions and ativities for more than a entury. But the
Muslim population is inreasing, and sine /00' $os has seen many serious attaks, most reently in May . &his pastor
notes that Muslims have had a 10+year plan to take over $os2 this plan is now oming to its term. !lease pray for the
hurhes and believers in $os. Many have suffered at the hands of Muslims. !ray that the 3ord will help them to see
these lost people as 4e does, fill them with 4is love, and give them strategies and open doors to reah them.
