Select team to organize the event and assemble


people who can focus on one or more of the
categories below. Consider combining with other
parishes or groups and/or securing underwriter(s)
for the event.
2 AUDI ENCE
Decide Who will be invited. Invite the local Crisis
Pregnancy Center (CPC), churches, media, politi-
cians, business leaders, high schools and youth
groups. Suggested minimum age: 7th or 8th grade.
3 EVENT DETAILS
Decide Where, When, What Time, Fee: charge for
event or offer Free Event. If asking for Free Will
Offering, this should be publicized.
4 40 LI CENSE
Purchase license to show 40. See reverse for
details and explanation.

5 PUBLI CI TY
Create Facebook Event (or an event planning
web site which accepts ticket sales such as
EventBrite.com). Print post cards, 11x17 posters,
print ads and bulletin announcements. (Contact
prolifepromotions@gmail.com to get event
customized print ready.pdfs or assistance with
Social Media.) Link the various 40-trailers to
group event, Facebook, etc. (See reverse for
details.)

6 RSVP
Assign person(s) to receive RSVPs. Provide email,
phone number, Facebook Event to capture RSVP
in all publicity. Create a list for day of check-in.
Provide sign in sheet to capture emails for walk
ins. Suggestion: Provide pre-printed name tags to
facilitate check in process.
7 AUDI O VI SUAL
Select and test all equipment needed well in
advance of the event. o Projector (minimum
lumens 2400), oDVD (Blu Ray preferred) Player or
Computer with DVD o Room darkening capability.
In addition, o Audio Speakers and oProjector
Screen MUST be appropriate to room size, at
least 10 feet MINIMUM in width is preferred for an
optimum viewing experience.
8 SPEAKERS
Decide on 40 event agenda, selection of emcee
and guest speakers, content and timing for
introductions and speakers. Assign someone to
take photos, estimate audience count and post
pictures on Social Media. Post pictures or tag
40 Facebook site.

9 HOSPI TALI TY
Plan for snacks, drinks, paper goods etc., table decor.
10 LI TERATURE
Place 40 signage for the entrance, balloons,
literature for a pro-life information table, such as
literature from: www.chastityproject.com, Rachels
Vineyard, Crisis Pregnancy Center, etc.
