The sun glyphs

It is said that our bodies shelter all faces of the Divine. This signifies that all types of
creative energies may manifest through our bodies.
For some time I have been interested in the Tzolkin, the sacred calendar of the Maya's. In
the Tzolkin, day-signs are represented by twenty sun glyphs. I was interested in finding
out whether we could discover the creative energies of these twenty sun glyphs in our
own bodies.
In order to find out more about the energy in different areas of the body, I studied some
books about Jin Shin Jyutsu ®, while at the same time writing a book about the
experience.
Jin Shin Jyutsu employs twenty-six safety energy locks along energy pathways that feed
life into our bodies. When one or more of the paths becomes blocked, the resulting
stagnation can disrupt the local area and eventually disharmonize the complete path of
energy flow. Harmonizing these energy locks can bring balance to mind, body and spirit.

My part of the investigation was and still is to determine if the quality of the
energypoints, as described by Jin Shin Jyutsu, is the same quality as the energies
described by the Maya's. After my studies and my own experiences, I came to the
conclusion that the same creative energy of the Tzolkin sun glyphs can be found in the
body, in the way these areas are described by Jin Shin Jyutsu.

It means that we can open ourselves for the creative energies of the sun glyphs by
opening the energy locks in our bodies. In this manner we dispose of a way to harmonize
the energy in our bodies, to bring balance to the body energies, and to restore the energy
flow. At the same time we assist our bodies in aligning with the greater universe by
placing our fingertips on designated areas of the body, or by just being aware.
To emphasize this I replaced the numbers in the figure Mira with the sun glyph symbols.
