Shift= IT does the opposite.
1 + Scroll = with Mouse wheel = up and down Vs left to right
2 + Tab = with tab = moves (backwards) next note or object in the score
3 + number= Adds pitch below
4 + H = decrescendo
5 (for Slurs) Shift + space bar shrinks slur by note (as opposite to bar that
extends slur)

SELECTION:
Bar: click on bar (blue)
BAR: Contiguous bar: Click+ Shift
Stave: double click + stave in the system
triple click + instrument (staff) for the whole piece

1 Mouse: only useful when adding a note after silences in a bar.
