Was hosted earlier this evening by a Dem who adores Brendan Boyle and we had a healthy exchange of

ideas regarding Corbett vs. Wolf; I feel Corbett can benefit from a perfect-storm if and only if he [1]
ties Wolf to BHO; [2]holds an endless press conference regarding Sandusky; and [3]prods the
legislature successfully to enact legislation tackling both the Pension-Bomb and the State-Stores [with
the potential to enact Paycheck Protection]. He can then run on competence [scandal-free, etc.] and
attempt to educate the voters regarding, for example, his having increased education expenditures
annually [which emerges when one deducts the one-year Stimulus funds]. I have my own problems
with Corbett [Highmark consolidation; Comcast corporate welfare; Corbetts inability to connect;
etc.], but compare/contrast policiesand the 20%-gap will narrow [notwithstanding PR-spin, ads, etc.].
The impending tug-of-war has been summarized [Senate Democrats Try to Pull Focus from Obamacare];
for Republicans, it's all about tying Dems to Obama [as enablers], especially to a health care law that
remains unpopular with many Americans whereas, for Dems, the election is about just about anything
else, especially if they can steer attention away from Washington and federal matters. {Also, note that
Interest groups' lobbying tally tops $500M in PA; in my spare time, I will attempt to discern all those
who relate with Mr. Hank Butlerin addition to the Jewish Federationto educate them as to his
credibility.}

I recognize that AG-Kane screwed-up the release of the Sandusky report [and the
latest is that AG Kane: hasn't pursued Philly Inq defamation matter further and is no
longer represented by Sprague], but anyone who reads the report will have to wonder
why only three people were working the case part-time during 2010, and a complete
review of all the Second Mile kids wasnt initiated until 2011. In-fact, AG-Kane didnt
need to try to suggest damages ensued during the alleged-delay in 2010 [the 2 kids]
because, just like the decision not to rescue the guys during BenghaziGate, one cant
decide ahead-of-time whether delay will yield an additional tangible harm; one must act
forthrightly when [1]government employees are under-attack, and [2]when a perp
is loose. And if this loose-end continues to dangle, the Tom killed JoePa mantra will be
invoked [perhaps by a Dem Super-PAC], resonating among PSU-grads/employees.
Indeed, this is a bipartisan issue, notwithstanding the filing of litigation [NCAA]. Finally,
Penn State may have shed the Sandusky slump, but the Paterno legend is forever.

There is a YouTube channel for the Philadelphia of memory

BHO appears to be flailing as, for example, Obamas talk about fighting income inequality has grown
quiet as his focus [after polling the issue] is shifting towards focusing on the middle-class, perhaps due
to a split among Dems; regardless of his claims that employment is higher, 14 Million More people are
on Food Stamps Under Obama. The atmospherics surrounding his activities have been summarized by
Peggy Noonan [who is not a TEA-Party Movement adherent] in her recent essay [The Daydream and the
Nightmare] in which she concluded Obama isn't doing his job because he's waiting for history to
recognize his greatness; the entire article should be scrutinized; it concludes: It is weird to have a
president who has given up. So many young journalists diligently covering this White House, especially
those for whom it is their first, think what they're seeing is normal. It is not. It is unprecedented and
deeply strange. And, because the world is watching and calculating, unbelievably dangerous. They can
dismiss Rush Limbaughs parody [Barack HusseinKardashian], but it is c/w the depiction of his priorities
in this piece. And, noting events overseas, BHO is now increasingly recognized as being dangerous
[notwithstanding BHOs Scandal-Sheet which continues to fester. Although quoting Hollywood is often
dangerous, one recalls Eastwoods single-chair performance two years ago when one listens to Steven
Seagals brief comments at the Western Conservative Conference [Never in my life did I ever believe
that our country would be taken over by people like the people who are running it at this day].

It is not surprising that the LA-Times reviewed the SCOTUS season without noting how
many times BHO was rebuked for his Executive Orders [unanimously], nor is it shocking
that Politicos summary-piece failed to observe the absence of this reference:

The high court's long game: Under Roberts, justices take the law in
small, steady steps on a conservative path. Many of its decisions appear
modest, and the justices themselves downplayed them as narrow and
tightly targeted. But they also set the stage for broader rulings, and
liberals voiced concern about their long-term impact. Many rely on well-
established rights, such as freedom of speech and free exercise of
religion, but extend those rights for the first time to corporations,
wealthy donors and conservatives who bristle at what they view as
liberal government mandates, from paying union fees to offering birth
control to female workers.

Four of the most significant rulings - on campaign finance, public prayer,
religious freedom and union fees - yielded the same 5-4 split. They
pitted the Republican appointees, Roberts and Justices Antonin Scalia,
Clarence Thomas, Anthony M. Kennedy and Samuel A. Alito Jr., against
the dissenting Democratic appointees, Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg,
Stephen G. Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan

OBAMA IS WEIGHING STEPS TO COVER CONTRACEPTION, AFTER 2 COURT SETBACKS, prompting a
backlash [FIORINA: DEM'S 'SHAMELESS' 'BASELESS' WAR ON WOMEN 'PROPAGANDA']; amazingly, the
left-wing online publication Vox finds the U.S. Supreme Courts decision in the Hobby Lobby case to be
part of a deeper trend in a nation that has made an unprecedented turn to a pro-life stance.
Regardless, I liked the Hobby-Lobby decision [Im multiple-choice, and I liked the way the SCOTUS
honored private religious beliefs, using the corporation as a person just as it did in Citizens-United;
remember, this wasnt even a constitutional question, for the decision was totally based on existing
statute.]. This was written in response to a prior Blast e-mail:

Re the comment: The Court held that the government could provide coverage for
contraceptives and abortifacients without forcing Americans, like the Christian family
that owns Hobby Lobby, to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs.

The court overstepped its power when it approved Hobby Lobby to not insure
abortifacients.

All five approving Justices are deceptive Roman Catholics, who used their Catholic
backgrounds to waive approval of abortifacients by Hobby; these are not objective
people, for its wishful thinking to think that Catholics can waive their Catholicism.

Sixteen years of Catholic Education inform my knowledge of the depth of and the
danger of Catholicism, for Catholics are almost impossible to convince about the need
for abortion.

It took them from 1633 until 1990 [357 years] to accept Galileo's idea that the earth
orbits the sun; he was given a life sentence by his traitor/friend Pope Bellermine and
imprisoned in his own home until his death. [There is a Catholic Church in Warrington,
PA named after Bellermine, who the Catholics revere as a saint.]

My conclusion is Catholics will be even harder to convince about the need for abortion
then they were about heliocentricity; of course, Im pro-abortion because a fetus is not
a baby any more than an adult is a corpse.

The use of Religious Beliefs is purposely deceptive. Regarding opposition to abortion
it should be specific and say Catholic Beliefs.

These are some of my ideas; as Groucho said: if you dont like them, I have more.

Todays spate of hyperlinks regarding Illegals suggests the citizenry may be driven [finally!] to pick-up
pitchforks and protest big-government [Clash in California; 'Viva La Raza'; BOIL; PROTESTERS WON'T
BACK DOWN; TENSE STANDOFF; Militia group heading to Texas border; RESIDENTS REVOLT: MIGRANT
BUSES FACE RESISTANCE; Some on right push to impeach]; indeed, the Feds are to Bring in Riot Squad
Against Illegal Immigration Protesters, ironically focused on accommodating the Illegals instead of using
troops to secure the border [Rick Perry: Obama 'Doesnt Particularly Care' Whether Border Is Secure;
Rick Perry: Use Drones at Border to Deter Illegals]. Communities are being flooded [300,000 ILLEGALS TO
HOMES IN USA; City Leaders Shut Out Of Planning To Shelter Illegals; Many schools in Charlotte NC now
majority immigrant; Interactive map: Government effort to relocate illegals; Wave of illegals risks
turning USA into Third World country] because BHO is welcoming them [President pushes amnesty at
naturalization ceremony; 'We have to do right by the children'; Border Protection Chief: 'These Are Not
Dangerous Individuals'; OBAMA ADMIN: ILLEGALS FROM CENTRAL AMERICA 'NOT DANGEROUS';
PRESIDENT: DONT MAKE IT HARDER FOR THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST TO COME HERE]. {Also noted:
there are ISIS ties to Mexican drug lords and a Rancher Discovered $2M Pot Farm on Land.}

The media remain pro-BHO [MEDIA CALLS ILLEGALS 'REFUGEES'; Daily Beast Suddenly
Discovers Immigration Crisis] and, despite BHOs efforts [FEDS THREATEN JOURNALIST
WITH PRISON], others are reporting dire current living-conditions [DOCTOR SPEAKS OUT
AGAINST FEDS SILENCING MEDICAL STAFF ON BORDER Agent Contracts Scabies].

Remarkable in this regard is a piece [Heartless vs. brainless] by a lib-
columnist [Stu Bykofsky, Philly Daily News] who claimed BHO didnt
solely or deliberately cause this crisis [documented to be untrue, vide
infra] because he stumbled upon the solution: If we do not send them
back, the lies they have been told become the truth and we will allow
lies to create our policy.

They are being predictably supported by activists [Activist distributes flashlights to
border crossers; Activist from Family of Illegals: It's 'Inhumane' to Protest Amnesty;
'F**K AMERICA': PRO-AMNESTY CROWD BURNS FLAG; 6 ARRESTED]. {Also noted:
Obama Look-Alike Killed in Ad.}

The blame-game continues [GOP Says Border Crisis is Obamas Fault; Democrats Blame Violence and
Poverty]; more to the point are focused accusations against BHOs having planned this debacle
[Goodlatte: Border Crisis Disaster of President Obamas Own Making; Congressman Says USA
Government Causing Human Trafficking; Dem. Rep. on Border Crisis: Obama 'One Step Behind,' Knew
Last Year US Incentives Luring Illegals]. BHO is planning a TX Trip [Three Fundraisers] but the DHS
SECRETARY said OBAMA is NOT GOING TO BORDER because 'HE CAN'T BE EVERY PLACE.' It may be
recalled that Obama said, in 2011, that his Bypassing Congress and Changing Immigration Law is Not
How a Democracy Works; true to form, despite what is happening, the NYT URGED OBAMA TO 'GO BIG'
ON EXECUTIVE ACTIONS FOR AMNESTY, adding that it is UGLY FOR AMERICANS AGAINST ILLEGAL
IMMIGRATION TO WAVE AMERICAN FLAGS AND CHANT 'USA.'

Through it all, deportations are declining ['Homeland Security' is Not Sure On
Deportations; DHS Secretary Johnson gives no clear answers on whether illegal
immigrant children will be deported; Backlash stirs against foreign worker visas;
Advocates, Mom Hopeful About Delayed Deportation; Obama Deporting Fewer
DREAMers Even After Surge of Illegals].

Many short-term solutions have been proffered [e.g., Sheriff Joe: Withhold Foreign Aid to Mexico], but a
more durable outcome would be recognition that the Fourteenth Amendment Empowers Congress to
End Birthright Citizenship [If an illegal alien has a child on American soil, the Constitution does not
require the child be granted American citizenship. Congress can give citizenship to anyone it wants, but
the Fourteenth Amendment only commands citizenship to persons born on U.S. soil to parents who are
not citizens of a foreign country.] This is particularly relevant, noting the attraction of anchor-babies
[Mothers crossing at alarming rate; 'Alarming' Number Of Immigrant Moms Bringing Children Across
Border Into Texas].

Meanwhile, racial-politics abound, both in America [Journo: Opposition to Taxes and
Spending Is Racist; STUDENTS JOINING BATTLE TO UPEND VOTER ID by claiming Age-
Discrimination exists in North Carolina; Hispanic Growth Not Turning Texas Blue as
Expected] and worldwide [Zimbabwe's Mugabe: 'We Say No to Whites Owning Our
Land'].

The new docudrama America, a robust defense of this country against far-left icons like Noam Chomsky,
exploded at the box office on Independence Day; DINESH D'SOUZA is being interviewed extensively,
such as when he debated with MICHAEL ERIC DYSON regarding LEFT-WING CRITIQUES OF AMERICA. This
reflects a greater interest in Getting the facts straight about the Founding Fathers as Americans are
questioning their future [PAPER: 1 in 8 Households Living 'American Dream' and SURVEY: JUST 28% SAY
USA #1]. A real-life manifestation of this trenchant concern is that a university-president feels a law-
requiring-studying the constitution is archaic; this essay should be read in its entirety because it both
captures his rationale and explains why it is bogus; it is this type of concern that animated efforts to
mandate Holocaust education, for voluntarism does not suffice in vital areas of study.

Some claim such erosion is based on culture-wars [BERKELEY APPROVES FREE POT FOR
LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS and People Are Not Born Gay, Affirmed Royal College of
Psychiatrists]; others claim those who allegedly disseminate such data are biased. For
example, while the lefties sneer at The Impact of the Aging Viewership on Bill OReilly
and Fox News, even the NY-Times, after having evaluated the same data, noted
Fox Viewers May Be Graying, but Their Passion Still Pays.

In no context is this issue more controversial than as it relates to gun-laws; c/w the view that it is the
individual who commits the crime are concerns regarding the numerous ways it is manifest [Texas Man
Pleads Guilty to Attempting to Aid Terrorists and Independence Day No Respite From Chicago Violence:
3 Dead, 37 Wounded]; yet, States look to gun seizure law after mass killings [and radical-lefty-teacher-
whined-that-fireworks-are-too-much-like-pretend-war]. When self-defense reports abound [Police:
Homeowner in Wheelchair Shoots, Kills Home Intruder] and popular-opinion against gun-restrictions
[MSNBC Shocked: Nearly 90% of Americans Support Constitutional Carry], the answer lies in Federalist
46, which notes that Americans are Exceptional Because we are Armed [if we want to be].

Other domestic issues require updates [What We Need Instead of Common Core;
POLITICO: EVEN LIBERALS WANT THIS OBAMACARE MANDATE REPEALED; SNOWDEN
STRIKES AGAIN: Ordinary Web users far outnumber foreign targets in conversations
intercepted by NSA...160,000 e-mail and instant-message conversations]. And
economics remains controversial [Memo to Krugman: Unchecked Liberalism Creates
Economic Mayhem; Bloomberg Op-Ed Compares Austrian Economics to 'Brain-Worms';
BRICs Morphing Into Anti-Dollar Alliance; Beijing, Seoul agree to direct trade in national
currencies]; the latter item again reflects the fact that, under BHO, the dollar is not
the universal currency-of-record worldwide.

Two scientific issues have been raised regarding Climate Change; on the one hand, RECORD GROWTH IN
ANTARCTIC SEA ICE CONTINUES [reassuring, noting prior bogus attacks citing the greenhouse effect]
but, on the other hand, in oklahoma, it has been averred that earthquakes are caused by fracking.
{Levity: 20-signs-youre-succeeding-life-even-you-dont-feel-you-are; The best way to lose weight is to

Political conflict abounds within the GOP, as SEN PAT ROBERTS STRUGGLED TO EXPLAIN WHY HE
DOESNT LIVE IN KANSAS; one can depend upon the Media to downplay the TEA Party Movement, such
as when CNNs John King concluded there is no huge an anti-incumbent wave affecting primary voters.
He cited at-most three incumbents with tough primary challenges [Tennessee and Michigan], but he
failed to explain that the former constitutes an attack on Lamar Alexander that is comparable to that
against Thad Cochran, and that the latter constitutes an attack by the GOP-Establishment on Justin
Amash [a first-termer who has mirrored comments by the likes of Sen. Ted Cruz]. {Also, some claim the
SENATE MAJORITY COULD REST ON THE FATE OF THE SAGE GROUSE.}

Senate Conservatives wish to Remind the electorate as to what happened in Mississippi.

We must remember that the establishment urged Cochran to run against McDaniel even
though Cochran wanted to retire.

We must remember that the establishment opposed McDaniel even though Cochran
had been in Washington for 41 years and had voted for wasteful spending, more debt,
and higher taxes.

We must remember that the establishment opposed McDaniel even though, according
to RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, McDaniel would win the seat for Republicans in
November.

We must remember that Haley Barbour got the gun-grabbing Michael Bloomberg to
donate $250,000 to help defeat McDaniel.

We must remember that the establishment funded race-baiting calls to black voters
urging them to "say no to the Tea Party and their disrespectful treatment of the first
African-American president."

We must remember that the establishment funded race-baiting flyers saying that
McDaniel wanted to return Mississippi to a bygone era of intimidating black
Mississippians from voting.

We must remember that the establishment funded race-baiting radio ads that
claimed McDaniel had connections to the Ku Klux Klan and that McDaniel had a "racist
agenda" that could cause black voters to "lose food stamps, housing assistance, student
loans, early breakfast and lunch programs, and disaster assistance."

We must remember that the establishment funded efforts that led to widespread claims
of payoffs and voter fraud that threw the results of the election into serious doubt.

We must remember that Mitch McConnell (R-KY) -- who vowed to "crush" conservatives
"everywhere" -- raised over $800,000 from Washington, DC lobbyists and other GOP
senators to help pay for Cochran's attacks against McDaniel.

We must remember that the National Republican Senatorial Committee
(NRSC) continued to oppose McDaniel after he won the most Republican votes in the
primary, and then spent $175,000 of party money to defeat McDaniel in the runoff.

The establishment showed us in Mississippi that they're willing to betray their own voters and tear
the GOP apart to hold on to power.

POTUS-16 controversy is increasing among Dems, as a British Reporter Called-Out
Hillary noting that, during her Tenure, America's Approval Ratings Plummeted. Almost
comically, Hillarys Speaking Fees are Potentially a Huge Tax Deduction; note that, the
more she digs, the more trouble she encounters:

Trying to quell a controversy over a $225,000 speaking fee at UNLV,
Hillary Clinton told ABC News that all her speaking fees from colleges
were "donated" to the family's Clinton Foundation. [It naturally didn't
occur to ABC News to ask whether Hillary deducted this "pass-through"
from her taxes, as would likely be legal under the tax code.]

In a related matter, POTENTIAL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE ELIZABETH WARREN IS AT
THE CENTER OF CFPB SCANDAL; indeed, Obama Has reportedly promised Elizabeth
Warren His Support Against Hillary Clinton In 2016, perhaps channeling the view of
Politico's Haberman when she noted Warren is Helping Dems while Clinton is Helping
Herself [in more ways than one].

In Israel, as Rockets are Raining Down on Southern Israel, BB is attempting to quell both efforts to raise
the temperature along the Gaza Strip [although Arlene Kushner decries this quiet for quiet policy],
and fierce clashes in Jerusalem that revive fears of intifada [Palestinians say teen burned alive; Protests
spread; Jews attacked in Israeli Arab town]; the False Equivalency in Israeli/Palestinian Murders
Threatens a Bloodbath of Jews, as BB demanded the PA chase-down the murderers of the three teens
just like Israel did expeditiously regarding the one teen. In general, Prime Minister Netanyahus has had
a Steady Hand Amid Middle East Chaos; nevertheless, the State Dept Rebuked Israel for Arrest of
American [who had been rioting and who was released to house-arrest]. {Also, note a Muslim Taxi
Driver Murdered a 19-Year-Old Israeli Teen Girl in Terrorist Attack.}

Israel-Palestine Peace Envoy Martin Indyk [a super-lib] said Talks 'Broke Down' When
'Abbas Shut Down' during his interview with The Atlantics Jeffrey Goldberg [a lib]; the
former U.S. envoy to the Israel-Palestinian peace process claimed there were many
reasons the talks between Israeli and Palestinian leaderships failed, not least of which
was the fact that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was never seriously
interested in reaching an agreement.

Media-voices cite data when they are pro-Israel [Chloe Valdary at Memphis Friends of Israel andDaniel
Mael Debates Anti-Israel Crowd on BBC], but they speak in generalities when they are anti-Israel
[Professor Daniel Kurtzer on US-Israel Relationship; Ben-Ami on J Street's Close Cooperation with Obama
White House; and NYU Anti-Israel Students: "Zionist State? Tear it down!"].

Worldwide, Americas credibility in the world is at risk due to Obamas failure to keep
U.S. commitments to protect Iranian dissidents, a distinguished bipartisan group of top
foreign policy and military leaders declared in a letter to the White House. It is gratifying
to note good-news [comparable to al-Sisi replacing Morsi] that More than 60 Women,
Girls Escape Islamist Abductors in Nigeria and that Putin is being stopped [Ukraine
Recaptured Pivotal Eastern City of Sloviansk from Pro-Russian Rebels and Ukraine
Claimed Winning Ground in Rebellious East]. In general, BHO has implemented "a
foreign policy of weakness and disengagement from the world."

In Iraq, when Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi addressed Muslims, IRAQ DISPUTED THE
AUTHENTICITY OF VIDEO SHOWING ISLAMIC STATE LEADER CALLING FOR 'JIHAD' but its clear he is Alive
after death rumors. Suddenly, despite the fact that my ghost-written essays that channeled views of
Dr. Sherkoh Abbas had been ignored for a half-decade, the issue is now out-there; Kurds Debate
Whether to Push for Independence. [Kurdish representatives seemed unwilling to move back to the
pre-June 9 Iraqi governing structure that entails taking orders from Baghdad. A Kurdish representative
said after a meeting with Secretary of State John Kerry in Washington Wednesday, we are not ready to
go back to pre-June 9, when ISIS began its blitzkrieg-like campaign throughout Iraq.] {Also note there is
a New border risk: ISIS ties to Mexican drug lords.}

Sir Nicholas Winton rescued 669 Jewish children before the Nazi invasion and told no
one; Sir Nicholas George Winton, MBE is a British humanitarian who organized the
rescue of 669 mostly Jewish children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia on the eve of
the Second World War, in an operation later known as the Czech Kindertransport.

In response to the announcement of an Islamist State and the fact that the Islamic State 'Expelled
Thousands in East Syria,' the Iraqi Shiite Militia Leader Defied ISIS: We Are Prepared to Target the Enemy
on Its Own Turf. Overall, Power Struggles in Middle East Exploit Islam's Ancient Split. Yet, no
inevitability argument can be used to justify the complete disintegration of American policy, for the
same argument could be employed were Israel to be nuked-away by Iran [via proxies].

This is inherent in two entries in this weeks ECONOMIST.

The cover: "The tragedy of the Arabs: A poisoned history ... A civilization that
used to lead the world is in ruins-and only the locals can rebuild it": "A
THOUSAND years ago, the great cities of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo took
turns to race ahead of the Western world. Islam and innovation were twins. The
various Arab caliphates were dynamic superpowers-beacons of learning,
tolerance and trade. Yet today the Arabs are in a wretched state. Even as Asia,
Latin America and Africa advance, the Middle East is held back by despotism
and convulsed by war.

The editorial: "Hopes soared three years ago, when a wave of unrest across the
region led to the overthrow of four dictators-in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Yemen-
and to a clamor for change elsewhere, notably in Syria. But the Arab spring's
fruit has rotted into renewed autocracy and war. Both engender misery and
fanaticism that today threaten the wider world. Why Arab countries have so
miserably failed to create democracy, happiness or (aside from the windfall of
oil) wealth for their 350m people is one of the great questions of our time. What
makes Arab society susceptible to vile regimes and fanatics bent on destroying
them (and their perceived allies in the West)? ... [R]eligious extremism is a
conduit for misery, not its fundamental cause. While Islamic democracies
elsewhere (such as Indonesia) ... are doing fine, in the Arab world the very fabric
of the state is weak. ... [T]he outlook is bloody. But ultimately fanatics devour
themselves. ... Pluralism, education, open markets: these were once Arab values
and they could be so again.
