SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

I, Racquel B. Singson, Filipino, of legal age, with postal address
c/o 2604a East Tower Philippine Stock Exchange Center, Ortigas
Pasig, do hereby name, appoint and constitute the DEFENSOR,
LANTION, BRIONES, VILLAMOR and TOLENTINO LAW
OFFICES or any of its lawyers, associates and representatives with
principal ofce at Suite 2604-A, East Tower, Philippine Stock
Exchange Centre Exchange Road, Ortigas Business Center, to be my
true and lawful attorney-in-fact, to appear for and on my behalf, and
to represent me, in Criminal Case No. GL-Q-12- 176290
entitled People of the Philippines vs. Racquel B. Singson pending
before the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City, Branch 92, in all
hearings and proceedings therein, including the mandatory
conference and hearing, as well as the pre-trial
conference/preliminary conference/conciliation proceedings of said
case, and particularly the following:
(i) Enter into compromise agreement or settlement with the
opposing party;
(ii) Submit to alternative modes of dispute resolution;
(iii) Agree to the simplifcation of issues and the limitation of
the number of witnesses;
(iv) Determine the necessity and desirability of amendment of
pleadings, the advisability of a preliminary reference of
the issues to a commissioner, the propriety of rendering
judgment on the pleadings or summary judgment, and
the necessity and advisability of suspending the
proceedings;
(v) Obtain admission or stipulations of facts and documents;
(vi) Agree on such other matters and considerations as may
aid in the prompt disposition of the action.
HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto our said attorney full
power and authority whatsoever requisite or necessary or proper to
be done in or about the premises, as fully to all intents and purposes
as we might or could lawfully do if personally present (with power of
substitution and revocation), and hereby ratifying and confrming all
that our said attorney shall do or cause to be done under and by
virtue of these presents.
