Opening of Membership 2013-2014

Application Forms for Individual and Institutional membership of the IIC (available only in
hard form) shall be issued as follows:

Timings: 10:30am to 12:30pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on all working days, (except
Sundays, 2

Saturdays and Gazetted Holidays).
The membership application form shall be issued against cash payment only:
Individual membership form `500/- & Institutional membership form: `1000/-
Submission of Form: The filled in application forms should be deposited along with the
photo copy of the receipt of issue of form in Membership Department, Room No. 9, above
Library, Main building from 25
th
October 2013, 10:30am to 12:30pm and 2:00 pm to
4:00pm on all working days (except Sundays, 2
nd
Saturdays and Gazetted Holidays)
upto 4:00pm, 28

December 2013.
Eligibility:
Individual Membership: Individuals having academic and professional accomplishments
and standing in the fields namely Art, Culture, Academics, Defence & Security, Medicine, Law
& Judiciary, Politics, Media, Social Service, Public Service, Business & Management, Science
& Technology, Sports and allied professional fields shall be eligible to apply.
Age: Minimum age for membership is 25 years as on 1
st
April 2014.
Institutional Membership: Any institutions which may be any association or organization
devoted to academic or cultural work and registered as a Society or as a Trust under an
appropriate Act shall be eligible to apply.
Also institutions which may be any University, National Laboratory, National Academy, an all-
India institution of research and higher learning, an all-India cultural body, a Central
Government Department, State Government or any of its Departments, any other
Governmental body or authority, a limited company in sympathy with the aims and objects
of the Centre, or any association of persons interested in academic or cultural work shall also
be eligible to apply.
Further that any Foreign University/National Academy of Research Institution or any other
body may be admitted as an Institutional member under Rules & Regulations of India
International Centre.
Notes:
Application forms are not available in soft form.
All Short Term Associate Members are also required to apply afresh to be
considered for regular membership.
No request for sending application form(s) by post/courier shall be entertained.
IIC shall not be responsible for any delay/non receipt of application forms through
post/courier etc.
Applications received after due date shall not be considered.
Centres decision regarding admissions shall be final.
Only selected candidates shall be informed.
IIC does not maintain a waiting list.
Please DO NOT send any payment in the form of cash/DD/cheque along with the
completed application form.
All Members sponsoring applicants are requested to endorse only those candidates whom
they know personally and consider eminently eligible for induction. It would be advisable not
to propose/second more than three applicants.
