Grade 7 Mass Reflection
God Lives in a Pure Heart
When I was in elementary grade, I always encounter many students. From those students, maybe we can tell who
are our true friends. Friends who are simple and kind are the ones who are true. Yes, from those students I met my
four true friends. I can say that they are kind, simple and jolly. Until now, we are in good condition.
Father Mar Miranda, our parish priest, told us about the people Jesus chose to help him in proclaiming of the
Kingdom of God. Jesus chose the people who are just simple. Not the persons who think that they are the highest
among us or in our language mapagmataas. He also told us that God lives in the person who has a pure heart not
in the person who is intelligent but he does not have a true heart.
In our advocacy, we have the L.I.F.E. I chose the letter F for faith. Why faith? We all know that the person who has
faith and trust in God are the ones who are humble. They know how to interact properly and their attitude is good.
These people can be an inspiration to us in order to maintain our faith in God.
As a human being, simplicity is the one of the characteristics that I look for a friend. It does not matter how
intelligent you are but it matters if you are kind and humble. Intelligence is wasted if you are rude and mean. Not
all of us are smart but I can say that you are intelligent if you are meek. We are made by God in order to love one
another but not to be boastful. We are just the same. All of us are imperfect and there is no need to be mean.
From now on, I will not judge a person on his intelligence. God is the only one who can judge. I will also appreciate
persons who are true to me. No matter what happens, I will try my best to be at their side. I will also try not to be
mean to others so that they will be also good to me.
Personal Prayer:
Lord, thank you for giving me good friends. Thank you for the kindness that you gave to them. Please give us the
patience so that we can be kind to the persons who are mean. Give us your guidance in order to be good to others.
Thank for all you blessings. Amen.
