without a doubt the world: Central Park and some of
its most popular tourist sites such as the Metropolitan
Museum of Art the Museum of Natural !ciences or

e#it of the <89th street or <*+th street across from the
park where ri&ht is the Museum of Natural =istor$

4or those with more time or who want to visit the
"reat .awn and the ?elacorte %heatre ' where there
are free performances in summer( the easiest wa$ is to
leave the Met and )*>th !treet be&ins a footpath
around the Met and will 5ust &ive "reat .awn then
skirtin& to &o see %urtle Pond ?elacorte %heatre and
out a&ain b$ the !hakespeare "arden to <89th street
as in the previous route.

where the ?akota the buildin& where he lived and was
killed is @ohn .ennon. Across the street and pushin&
back in Central Park !trawberr$ 4ields is part of the
park tribute to .ennon. <e crossed !trawberr$ 4ields
and continue down the park and the hei&ht of the
<AAth is !heep Meadow for m$ beautiful view over
New York from Central Park ne#t to the terrace of the
Met.
<e walked to 8th Avenue and <3*th street where we
can leave the park at Columbus Circle Manhattan
ri&ht in and see the statue of Columbus. Nearb$ there
are man$ thin&s to visit 7ockefeller Center !t Patrick
