In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

١ ‫ج‬
ِ ‫ت اُُْو‬
ِ ‫وَاَء ذَا‬
1. By the Sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs;

٢ ‫وَاَْْ ِم اَُْْ ِد‬

2. By the promised Day (of Judgment);

٣ ‫َو"َهِ ٍ َوﻡَُْ ٍد‬

3. By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness --

٤ ‫ْ ُو ِد‬$ُ%ْ‫ب ا‬
ُ َ'ْ(‫ِ َ* َأ‬+ُ,
4. Woe to the makers of the pit (of Fire),

٥ ‫ُ ِد‬,َ ْ‫ت ا‬

ِ ‫ ِر ذَا‬/‫ا‬
5. Fire supplied (abundantly) with Fuel:

٦ ٌ‫ُد‬2ُ, ََْ3َ ْ4ُ‫ِإذْ ه‬

6. Behold!
they sat over against the (fire).

٧ ٌ‫ "ُُد‬7
َ ِ/ِ‫ْﻡ‬8ُِْ‫ن ﺏ‬
َ ُ3َ2ْ;َ‫َ= ﻡَ ی‬3َ ْ4ُ‫َوه‬
7. And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers.

٨ ِ َِ'ْ‫َ?ِی ِ? ا‬2ْ‫ ِ@ ا‬3ِ‫ُا ﺏ‬/ِ‫ْﻡ‬8ُ‫ْ ِإ أَن ی‬4ُْ/ِ‫َُا ﻡ‬Aَ‫َوﻡَ ﻥ‬

8. And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah,
Exalted in Power, worthy of all Praise! --

٩ ٌ َِ" ‫ْ ٍء‬Dَ" *E ُ‫َ= آ‬3َ @ُ 3‫ض وَا‬

ِ ْ‫َر‬%ْ‫ت وَا‬
ِ ‫ اَوَا‬H
ُ ْ3ُ‫ِي َ ُ@ ﻡ‬J‫ا‬
9. Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth!
and Allah is Witness to all things.
 4َ /ََM ‫ب‬
ُ ‫َا‬Jَ ْ4َُ3َL ‫ُﺏُا‬+َ‫ْ ی‬4َ 4 ُN ‫ت‬
ِ َ/ِ‫ْﻡ‬8ُْ‫ وَا‬7
َ ِ/ِ‫ْﻡ‬8ُْ‫ُا ا‬/َ+َL 7
َ ‫ِی‬J‫ن ا‬
 ‫ِإ‬
10. Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not
turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell:

١٠ O
ِ ‫ب اْ'َِی‬
ُ ‫َا‬Jَ ْ4َُ‫َو‬
they will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire.

‫َﻥَْ ُر‬%ْ‫َِ ا‬+ْ'َ‫ ﺕ‬7ِ‫ِْي ﻡ‬Rَ‫تٌ ﺕ‬/َM ْ4َُ ِ‫ِ'َت‬S‫ُا ا‬3َِ‫ُا َو‬/َ‫ﻡ‬T 7
َ ‫ِی‬J‫ن ا‬
 ‫ِإ‬
11. For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens, Beneath which Rivers flow:

١١ ُ َِVْ‫ اْ;َْ ُز ا‬H

َ ِ‫َذ‬
that is the great Salvation, (the fulfillment of all desires).

١٢ ٌ ‫ ََ ِی‬H

َ E‫ َرﺏ‬W
َ ْXَ‫ن ﺏ‬
 ‫ِإ‬
12. Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord.

١٣ ُ ِ2ُ‫ئ َوی‬

ُ ِ ُْ‫ِإﻥ ُ@ هُ َ ی‬
13. It is He Who creates from the very beginning,
and He can restore (life).

١٤ ‫َ;ُ ُر اْ َدُو ُد‬Zْ‫َوهُ َ ا‬

14. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of loving-kindness,

١٥ ُ ِRَْ‫ش ا‬
ِ َْ2ْ‫ذُو ا‬
15. Lord of the Throne of Glory,

١٦ ُ ‫َ یُِی‬E ٌ‫ل‬2َL

16. Doer (without let) of all that He intends.

١٧ ‫ُ ِد‬/ُRْ‫] ا‬

ُ ‫ك ﺡَ ِی‬
َ َ‫هَ*ْ َأﺕ‬
17. Has the story reached thee, of the Forces --

١٨ ‫د‬
َ َُN‫َو‬ ‫ن‬
َ َِْْL
18. Of Pharaoh and the Thamud?

١٩ `
ٍ ‫ِی‬JْVَ‫ ﺕ‬DِL ‫ آَ;َُوا‬7
َ ‫ِی‬J‫ﺏَ ِ* ا‬
19. And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)!

٢٠ ٌaِ'b‫ ﻡ‬4ِِc‫ َورَا‬7ِ‫ ُ@ ﻡ‬3‫وَا‬

20. But Allah doth encompass them from behind!

21. Nay,
this is a Glorious Qur'án,

٢٢ ٍ‫ح ﻡ'ْ;ُظ‬

22. (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved!
