Hyderabad Traffic

The Traffic in Hyderabad is increasing day by day, because of many people migrating from
other states and Towns for the need of jobs and the village people are also migrating to
Hyderabad to make their children study well and achieve high positions. So, migrating from all
over the state making
the city very troublesome and nowadays each and every individual is able to purchase vehicles,
so because of this also the traffic is getting amplified.

The next reason for increase in traffic is most of the dividers are brokendown in the middle
from where the people are passing to take U-Turn which is causing others to face the
problems.

So to avoid traffic problems we need to close the dividers and maitain different tracks for
differnt vehciles. So, the people will follow there own track and drive the vehciles properly.

Social networking
In the past, due to geographical distances and economic concerns, connections between
people were limited. A social network is made up of individuals that are connected to
one another by a particular type of interdependency. It could be ideas, values, trade,
anything.
Social networks operate on many levels. Initially social networking happened at family
functions where all relative and friends would conglomerate under one roof.
Social networking has always been prevalent; it is just that in these times the face of
social networking has changed. Where earlier the process was long drawn, involving a
chain movement where in one person led to another through a web of social contacts,
today the process is highly specialized.
Communication has been instrumental to a large extent to the growth of social
networking. With the advent of Internet and the cell phone a lot of social interaction is
captured through email and instant messaging.
Today there are a lot of online social networking sites where individuals volunteer
information about themselves and their social networks. Social networking allows for
like- minded people to interact with another.
An online social networking site is a place where a user can create a profile and build a
personal network that connects the user to other users. What used to be just a niche
activity has today taken the proportions of a global phenomenon that engages tens of
millions of Internet users.
Online social networks are ideal for exchanging ideas, views, and garnering public
opinion; although, these are restricted to the users of the social network. Popular social
networking sites, like Orkut, MySpace and Face book are changing the Internet scene.
Another social networking programme is that used by a company called Amway.
The company operates on the system of multi level marketing. Members make new
members and get monetary benefits on the purchases made by down the line members.
Members sell the companys products through social networking.
And the members of the company itself constitute a large network, which members use
for other businesses as well. The Amway model has been so effective that it has been
copied by several other businesses.
Social networking sites have recorded phenomenal growth rates. These networks allow
individuals to leverage the connections they establish within the social network to
achieve a broader objective like job search, a real estate search, a holiday trip plan, etc.
A social network allows independent artists, music labels and video content owners to
upload share and sell their content to a community of users with interests in the
particular media. Users in turn benefit by being able to sample, hear, download and
share songs with friends and other members.
Social network groups like Orkut help people get in touch with people they have lost
touch with. They also help people to stay in touch despite their geographical distances.
Social networking is important as far as an individuals personal and professional
development is concerned.
The social network sites have emerged as a powerful and effective means for people to
not only link and get linked but to use these services as effectively as possible. The
growing popularity of these networking sites only proves the simple truth Social
networking has arrived!

Hyderabad Metro
Hyderabad Metro is a rapid transit system, currently under construction, for the city of
Hyderabad, India. It is being implemented entirely on PPP mode, with the state
government holding a minority equity stake
The Phase I of the project includes 3 lines covering a distance of around 71 km. The
metro rail stretches between Nagole and Mettuguda (8 km) and between Miyapur and
S. R. Nagar (12 km) are targeted to be operational by December 2014.In September
2012, the Indian government has approved Phase II which is expected to start in 2013. It
includes around 80 kilometers.
Hyderabad Metro Rail project has been selected as one of the top 100 strategic global
infrastructure projects to be showcased at the forthcoming Global Infrastructure
Leadership Forum being held in New York during FebruaryMarch, 2013
Another important milestone has been crossed by the Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd on
Sunday with the casting of 1,000 segments.
According to HMR managing director NVS Reddy, the precast segments will be joined
together on top of the pillars to form a viaduct (flyover-like structure) on which two
railway tracks (up and down lines) will be laid. The normal distance between two pillars
is 31 metres (101 feet) and it will be covered by 11 segments.
Each segment weighs about 35 tonnes and has a deck width of 8.8 metres (29 feet) to
facilitate simultaneous movement of two trains in opposite directions. With a
requirement of about 330 segments per one kilometer, the first precast 1,000 segments
will be sufficient for covering a distance of 3 km. The total requirement for the 72-km-
long metro rail is 28,000 segments.
L&T, which is executing the project, is casting 10 segments a day at its Uppal casting
yard. The capacity will be doubled after establishment of a second casting yard.

Telangana
Telangana is a region in Andhra Pradesh and was originally a princely state, ruled by the
erstwhile Nizam of Hyderabad. Andhra Pradesh today as it stands, can be divided into
three regions Telangana, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra. The Telangana region
comprises of districts in Western and Central Andhra Pradesh (Adilabad, Karimnagar,
Nizamabad, Medak, Warangal, Khammam, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, and
Mahaboobnagar) It comprises 10 of Andhra Pradeshs 23 districts. It accounts for 119
seats out of the 294 seats in Assembly. Telegana at the time of Independence

After Independence, the Nizam of Hyderabad wanted to retain his hold over the state.
But the Government of India had other plans and amalgamated his state on 17th
September 1948 by force. On a historic note, Rayalseema and Coastal Andhra were part
of the Madras Province under the British Empire. However post independence
Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra were separated from the Madras State in 1953 and
were merged with the Telangana region of Hyderabad in 1956 to form the state of
Andhra Pradesh. The remaining parts of the Telangana region were merged with
Karnataka and Maharashtra. This was the first state that was carved out on linguistic
lines in the country. Demands for a separate Telangana State

Demands for carving out a separate Telangana State became more buoyant during
1969. There are quite a few reasons for this:- There were distinct differences between
Telangana and Andhra Regions. Andhra that was initially a part of Madras presidency
had much better standards of development and education. Telangana on the other
hand was more feudal in its approach and much less developed. The Telangana people
had reservations also because they feared they would lose out on many jobs with the
merger The cultural differences too were apparent. Under the rule of the Nizam the
Telangana region bore influences of Northern India.
