The Archbishop’s Comments on “Shari’ah” have provided us all with a wonderful opportunity to learn more about
how another faith conducts its affairs according to its own Principles and Jurisprudence known as Shari’ah. This is
your Opportunity to Organize a Lecture/ Talk on Shari’ah in order to clarify the issues and dissipate the confusion for
the benefit of your parishioners and congregations.

Speakers Profile
Saeed AbdulRahim has spoken on the subject of “Shari’ah What it is and What It is Not?” at St. James, Piccadilly where he has
also spoken on the subject of Muslim Jesus.

A former member of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Reference Group on Muslim – Christian Dialogue he has participated in the
Listening Exercise which lead to the formation of the Christian Muslim Forum.. He is a convenor of his local Muslim-Christian
Dialogue group and is an active Promoter of Inter-Faith dialogue and understanding. A Frequent Guest at VIP Inter-Faith
receptions he has also participated in organizing a seminar on a faith to faith basis on the concept of citizenship in the Christian
and Muslim faiths

• He has spoken at Lancaster, Southwark, Peterborough Cathedrals and St. James Church – Piccadilly
• Been a guest speaker at the Monastic Interfaith Dialogues AGM.
• Presented a short piece on Islam and Sports on Television marking the opening of the Manchester Games.
• A presentation at a Day Care Centre in the presence of an H.R.H.
• A presentation at the London School of Theology.
• A guest speaker at the Sion Centre where he spoke on the subject of “Islamaphobia – Removing the
Misconceptions”. He has also addressed various other Church Groups, Police recruits, to staff of the Department of
