/re,uenc! moulation is much more immune to noise than am"litue moulation an is
signi#icantl! more immune than "hase moulation. A single noise #re,uenc! $ill e##ect the out"ut o#

The noise has a greater e##ect on the higher moulating #re,uencies than on lo$er ones. Thus+
i# the higher #re,uencies $ere arti#iciall! booste at the transmitter an corres"oningl! cut at the
