Faults

Panel Text
AMC: Fault Class 1
Description Class 1 Fault detected in motor control software. Fault reaction is pulse removal (stop motor),
opening of MCB and discharging of DC-link
Causes Reasons for Class 1 Faults are mainly faults concerning DC-circuit e.g. DC overvoltage and NP-
overvoltage.
Rectification Check for other related faults in the fault buffer. Each faults results in two records in fault buffer:
fault class (this one) and fault message (other fault texts in this file)
FaultClass INU FC1
FaultClass ARU Not Appl

AMC: Fault Class 2
Description Class 2 Fault detected in motor control software. Fault reaction is pulse removal (stop motor), if
drive was already energized MCB stays closed and DC-link charged
Causes Reasons for Class 2 Faults are mainly faults that do not concern the DC circuit e.g. overspeed,
overcurrent, speed measurements
Rectification Check for other related faults in the fault buffer. Each faults results in two records in fault buffer:
fault class (this one) and fault message (other fault texts in this file)
