Welcome to Kids Town!
We are so happy to have you a part of our amazing volunteer team! Thank you so much for your
dedication and hard work in creating tomorrows memories every day for our guests.
Kids Town is a place where children can explore, learn, and create. They will have the opportunity to
visit different types of businesses in the town, where they can read, write, get artistic, learn about
recycling, be doctors, or build things. Street signs will help to guide them on their way as they visit each
building, taking part in lots of fun activities.
Facades will be used to create store fronts, and trees and shrubs will complete the park setting in Town
Square. The outdoors will be brought inside, with clouds hanging from the ceiling and lampposts
standing on the streets to further compliment this look.

Volunteer Opportunities in Kids Town
Visitors Information:
The welcome sign is the first thing that families see when they enter Kids Town. This is where children
will receive their visitor information book, which will include schedules for the stage, meet & greets,
and a map of the town. Please familiarize yourself with the locations of activities in the hall.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Post Office where volunteers will help mail it to our FIFA Soccer Display.
We will also have a giant whiteboard wall where children can help contribute in making a huge work of
art and a sculpting area, in which they can then create one-of-a-kind pieces using Play-Doh. They will
also be able to take a small bin of Play-Doh home with them at the end of their experience!

plastic hard hat and vest, children will be able to step right into the life of an everyday construction
worker.

and get nice and comfy as they settle in for an exciting literary adventure! Chairs will be placed along the
wall for parents or bigger kids.
The children can also help to write our K-Days story using giant mad-lib sheets. Volunteers will help
them read and let them know what kind of word needs to go in the blank space. This will help to teach
children about verbs, nouns, pronouns and adjectives. They will help create a silly, fun story about the
town, K-Days, or the Farm!
