I.

INTRODUCTION

The national Achievement Test (NAT) on the Basic Education Curriculum-Elementary Learning Competencies (BEC-ELEC) expected
outcome to measure the basic and skill they learned from Grade four to Six.

This test is to attain mastery and identify strengths and weaknesses. However, this assessment needs potential skill for the
their academic performance.

One of the best way (intervention) to improve learning in Science as one of the curriculum is to increase on the implementation
techniques and strategies that will help pupils about developments in using such laboratory equipments, in line with the constant change of Science
pace with trends. If this happens, this will strengthen pupils skill in aural, visual and participate actively in all Science activities for the enhancement
academic performance.

Provide pupils more enjoyable exercises such as games, puzzle, example Pinoy Henyo and the likes.

When these happen, every pupil will have better understanding. Likewise, the result of their NAT in Science will get better and
learning Science takes more than just understanding and memorizing concepts. In doing and memorizing such concepts through experiment,
prepared for the NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT TEST.

Grade six pupils reviewed with the help of supportive colleagues in partaking different strategies and techniques. Parents too splurge
to alleviate their young ones especially in observing study habit at home.

In desiring to raise NAT result, careful planning ahead and have a great time practicing science as a guide by providing excellent
resources for teaching.
I. SCOPE
1.1 TABLE
The following Interventions are suggestes to improve NAT Science Performance: Eight months (July-Feb.)
Pupils A. Make the learning place a conducive. or as needed
Development a.1 Organize materials and setting arrangement ahead of time to familiarize their places.
a.2 Make the teaching simple and interesting as possible.
a.3 Make the materials available.
a.4 Provide the learners the needed reinforcements.
a.5 Give rest and avoid stress.
B. Prepare the pupils and let them understand NAT.
b.1 What is its history/background?
b.2 Provide Saturday review classes and involve parents if needed.
b.3 Know the topics they hardly understand.
C. Promote self-confidence and positive outlooks among learners.
c.1 Starts and end the day alive. A fruitful mind is a fruitful body and a leader with good
attitudes can affect everybody.
c.2 Give motivation emphasis on attendance with constant coordination with parents.
c.3 Provide them the necessasry reviews and supports.
D. Know and understand each unique characteristics of the pupils and make it as a tool
in guiding and facilitating them.
E. Improve reading, comprehension skills and habits.
F. Improve writing skills.
Staff A. Give motivation and incentives to teachers and schools with high NAT result.
Development B. Give proper trainings and orientation ahead of time.

b.2 Understand their varied situations that may affect their focus.
C. Administrators/School Heads should have open forums with the concerned teachers
on how to improve NAT Science Result.
c.1 Attending Saturday classes if needed.
