Engine air supply pipe
Description
Several vehicles Eurocargo MY2008 (Euro V) may have faults with the
vent on the air supply pipe, which is necessary for blow-by recirculation
on the respective models of Euro VI Eurocargo, as it has not been
properly sealed with the rubber cap.
Therefore, check for the rubber caps on the air supply pipe and, if not
installed, detach the supply pipe and check whether it is soiled internally
before fitting the cap.

The presence of the vent sealing cap is guaranteed from chassis 2619739
produced Nov 2013 on vehicles MY2008 Euro V.
Dealer Interventions
Tip the cab and check whether the vent in figure 1:
- is sealed with the rubber cap ("OK" in fig 1): in this case the action is
complete.
- is without rubber cap ("KO" in fig. 1): in this case perform the
following procedure.

IMPORTANT
The kit must be ordered via the menu OneCall --> Extended Facilities --> Repair kit.
Procedure
Remove the supply pipe by removing the following retainers/connections:
- Turbine collar (1 fig. 2),
- Compressor connector pipe collar (2 fig. 2),
- Humidity sensor (3 fig. 2),
- Air filter collar(4 fig. 2).

Clean/dry the internal part of the pipe, removing any grime and water
For vehicles that have undergone long duty cycles, make sure that turbine inlet is clean and without
any particular anomalies.
Refit the pipe into its initial position. The collars must be tightened to a torque of 6Nm.
Mount the kit cap (1 fig. 3 ) onto the vent, which must be then sealed and blocked with the fixing
spring in the kit (2 fig. 3).
