Check fuel level in fuel tanks. Should be good enough to run engines.
Check VFD, Two Generators must be on line.
Check Drawworks clutch air pressure. Air Pressure should be above
100 Psi.
Check at least one Air compressor should be running with required air
pressure and other unit ready to start.
Check the functioning of hydraulic power unit (HPU) of Drawworks
braking system and its oil level.
Check the functioning of Drawworks braking system.
Make sure cooling water is running to circulating to HPU, DWKS and
Elamagco Brake.
Check Drawworks and Auxiliary brake Linkage is engaged (must be
Engaged).
Check proper greasing of all sheaves (A-Frame, Mast, Crown block;
Drawworks frame).Observe the pulleys while lowering mast, make sure
pulley are rotating when lowering DWKS.
Check raising line properly wrapped in sheaves and line guards
properly inserted.
Check all drilling floor foldable/removable covers (drawworks side) have
been folded/removed, to avoid any interference during drawworks
lowering.
Check Grasshopper properly fixed, free from any obstacles. One
person should keep eye on grasshopper cables while lowering DWKS.

Check the functioning of Main HPU for Hydraulic Jack (Snubbing Unit)
to push the DWKS for lowering.
Make sure that the Pins on DWKS side of BOP Trolley beams are fully
IN from DWKS side to facing Mast side. These Pins may get stuck at
the lowering point with cross H Beam if not fully In.
Ensure that the RT beams remain pinned to mast side. The pins on
DWKS side should be removed.
Removed the water inlet line, Elamagco side, as its get tension with
DWKS raising line.
Make sure remove 02 each diagonal H beams below DWKS (01 DS
and 01 ODS)
Check proper connection of dead line anchors load cell and weight
indicator.
One crane should be ready on Driller side and one crane should be
ready off driller side, in case of some problem.
Safety meeting.
Check the only presence of authorized personnel surrounding rig down
area.

Check the functioning of Mast snubbing cylinders with main HPU.
Make sure the derrick board plat form is fold back and secured with
rope properly. If not, block will touch to the center working platform of
Derrick man.
Check absence of any interference with pipes and electrical cables.
Make sure the TDS Loops are free hanging. If the end of loops left on
rig floor, it will fall down to the ground during lowering.
Make sure the TDS Torque tube (Monorail) hang off link is secured on
the crown block.
Make sure the main Tie back beam of TDS on main Spreader beam is
secured. If loose, will fall down during mast lowering.
Check proper installation of high Hose stand.
Check the presence of utilities around rig up area (one crane on Driller
