About the Speaker
Barbara A. McLean MN, RN, CCRN,CNS-NP,
FCCM
Nurse Intensivist & Critical Care Specialist
Barbara McLean has been in critical care practice
for 35 years. She functions as an independent,
International Critical Care Practice Consultant.
Ms. McLean has been awarded the excellence in
education award by the AACN & SCCM. She has
authored or co-authored numerous journal articles,
abstracts and book chapters and has made more
than 2000 presentations nationally and interna-
tionally, Her practice is dedicated to developing,
supporting and advancing critical care.
Presentation Description
This one day symposium offers the most up-to-date
treatments and technologies for the care of the
critically ill patient in today's rapidly changing
healthcare environment. The presentation will fo-
cus on Hemodynamic Endpoints for the Critical
Thinker and Ventilation Strategies. These topics
will be packed with the most current evidence
based research and best practice findings.
