Abstract- Integral and Series equations are very useful in the theory of elasticity, elastostatics, diffraction theory and acoustics.
Particularly these equations are very much useful in finding the solution of crack problems of fracture mechanics. In this paper , a
closed form solution of certain simultaneous quadruple series equations involving Konhauser Orthogonal Polynomials has been
obtained .

I. INTRODUCTION

In this paper, we are concerned with the simultaneous quadruple series equations involving Konhauser orthogonal polynomials,
which are generalizations of those considered by Patil and Thakare[ 3 ].

We consider the following equations:

III. SOLUTION OF THE EQUATIONS

Multiply the equation (1.1) by
2
( )
m
x t x
o | +

and the equation (1.4) by

( ) x t
o o | + +

and integrating w.r. to

x

over
(0, ) t
and
( , ) t
respectively and after using results [Erdelyi , 5] , we find that

Now, we multiply the equation (3.1) by

and differentiate both sides

Now , the left hand sides of the equations (1.2) , (1.3) , (3.2) and (3.3) are identical and hence , on using the
