The parties to this Agreement have agreed that a learner shall be guaranteed an
interview on the specified HE programme, subject to the learner meeting the criteria set
out below:
There is a requirement of GCSE Mathematics at Grade C or above or equivalent. Students
without GCSE Mathematics will be required

p BTEC units in
Business Calculations, Computational Methods and Key Numeracy at Level 3.
Each application is considered on its own merit. Students with lower grades may from time
to time be offered places if they have the potential to successfully complete a programme of
study at Goldsmiths.

The parties to this Agreement have agreed to provide the following pre-application
guidance and support:
In order to support students at Lewisham College in making their choice of HE course the
course teams, HE advisers, admissions staff and widening participation teams will ensure

Are fully informed about the content of the courses offered by Goldsmiths
Are aware of the entry requirements and provided with support to meet these
Are supported in preparing for the application and interview process
Are guaranteed an opportunity to attend a dedicated information and one-to-one interview
day to ascertain their potential, interests, and suitability for the degree programme in
Computing at Goldsmiths.

In order to support students on their Degree courses and ensure successful


progress Goldsmiths provides:
A range of learning opportunities including lectures, tutorials, seminars and lab
sessions
A designated personal tutor who will provide 2 hours of small-group tutorials each
week
A laptop computer for each 1st year degree student with all the basic software for
your continuing study
Access to the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme
Students wishing to apply for courses at Goldsmiths are strongly recommended
to take part in supporting activities.
