(INTRO)

M: To our beloved English teacher, Mrs. Aileen Dela Guardia

J: To our fellow oral defenders,

Sl: As well as our dearest classmates

Sr: To each and everyone,

E: Good Morning.
M: We are the third group of researchers to present one of the most controversial factors which
surely affects the behavior as well as academic performance among us, Accountancy students.

Sl: Indeed Ms. Contreras. Let me introduced to you first my group members, again, Ms. Michelle
Contreras, Ms. Jenny Dalawampu, Ms. Elaine ALdovino, my twin, Ms. Shaira DImappiu, and
Yours truly, Ms. Shaila DImaapi. So, why is it so controversial?

J: Let me answer that question my friend. First and foremost, it deals with the teacher-student
relationship which triggers the psychological affects in both sides. Let say, who needs to adjust
the most?the students or the teacher? Or, is there a need to be an introvert or extrovert? Or
maybe, maybe, it is just a matter of professionalism either to the student or the teacher?

Sr: Okay, imagine, if you are with the a very strict or kill joy teacher? How can you adopt
yourself when there is too much pressure in your major subject? On the other hand, wonder if
you are with a very energetic Accountacy teacher who relates all the accounting problems to
love, life and jokes, couldnt that be more fun and exciting?

E: So, I know it isnt that obvious that our topic is like a call for a better second home, a school
full of learning in a no stressful way. We entitled our research as The Effectivity of the Teaching
Strategy of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Major Teachers to the Study Habits of Second
Year Students of Batangas State University. So, Ms. Shaira Dimaapi, got any clue why we
entitled this long?
(Chapter 1: Elaine and Shaira and Mitchie)
Sr: The last time I check, you were the one who entitled it though we helped as well. Okay then,
we choose this title to give importance in how teachers should or practice their teaching
strategies inside the classroom. This is not just our benefit but of course to you as well. Why?
Because it tackles on how far could an ordinary Accountancy teacher reach the inner minds of
students to understand such Accounting problem with an assurance that it will be remembered,
absorbed, and be the stock knowledge for a lifetime? However, with the generation gap and
other influential gadgets, students seem to lack patience and even intuition of giving more effort
in their studies. Its very common nowadays even with my experience so, another set of
teaching skills shall governed for better student-teacher reklationship.

E: Just like any DID YOU KNOW or FACTS 101 and UNREVELEADTRUTHS application,
BatStateU, CABEIHM DEPT. got the hidden artifacts about their history in having this
Accountancy program for almost 17 years. Yes! It was introduced in the year 1997 according to
our Dept. Chair Mrs. Macon. Recently, the program has seven-full time major teachers including
Mr. Falo and Maam Baby . For your information, almost 35% of all examinees last school year
pass the qualification exams so we should atleast be acknowledge of the attitude of these major
teachers like being an introvert or extrovert, their influence in how these students sees the
course and other subjects are some factors which could make or break the second year
students usual studying concerns.

Mitchie: The huge question is that What are the effective teaching strategies of the B.S.
Accountancy Major Teachers and how does it affect the study habits of the students?
Hypothetically speaking, almost every student in this course wish the so called FACULTY
MODELING strategy which discusses the topic outloud, with further explanations and most
importantly is appreciating the questions and clarifications among the students. Also, the
professors personality will reflect the eagerness of the students to attend each class so we
think it would be easier for a little bit of optimism among our teachers to enlighten us every
major examination, failed or passed. Ms. Ldovino, would you do the honor of explaining our
Conceptual Framework?
E:Of course. Alright, we have the dependent variables which are the respondents specifically
second year students, the independent variable which needs analysis after conducting surveys
and interviews among our professors. Again, our research aims for better learning environment
not just for the students but as well as to any person who dreams to be an Accountancy teacher
too. We will have the met cognitive awareness or the ability to know oneself in dealing with
learning more and effectively.
M: before we end up discussing chapter one, again, the difference between extrovert and
introvert. Extrovert deals with energetic, approachable being while Introvert is more likely to be
silent and self-centered. One more thing is that the TEACHING STRATEGIES is a combination
of instructional methods, learning activities, and materials that actively engage students and
appropriately reflect both learning goals and students developmental needs.
(Chapter 2:R&RL : Shaila and Jenny and Shaira)
Sl: So guys, we all know that expecting too much is a hustle, right? However, we cant avoid the
fact that our professors have the goal to teach us which makes them expect more from us.
According to Brophy and Good, these expectations will bring a distinction between high
achiever and low achiever. Yes, life is as unfair as you could possibly imagine. Actually, there
are four basic attitudes of teachers, : attachment, wherein the students are conforming and
fulfilling the personal needs of the teachers; indifference and concern, which happens when the
students were notable only for their very low frequencies of contacts with the teachers and leads
not to be dislike but rather be ignored or unnoticed; and rejection when the students were
making demands on the teachers that are illegitimate or overwhelming.
J: After knowing those different sides of a personality, its now our time to examine ourselves
which side we belong..type A or more likely to be extrovert or type B which are more likely to be
introvert. Take your pick!According to this Psychological Profile for Accountancy, Examination of
accounting professionals shows that Type B is the most common behavior among all
professionals sampled and contrary to previous research, Type B also tended to be common
even in higher management levels of the accounting firms. Accounting students also showed
similar patterns. Type B behavior tended to be the most common psychological profile among
both male and female accounting students while there is some evidence that Type A students
do perform better as evidenced by self-reported grades.
Sr: Meanwhile, a study from Winsconsin shows a hybrid model of instruction where students
receive 50% instructor-led, and 50% online instruction, will be compared with a traditional
classroom model where students receive 100% instructor-led instruction. So, do you agree
having online instruction and not just the traditional teaching technique?
Sl: In connection to this, Accounting Free Consultant is an online, interactive accounting tutored
simulation. One of the most important features is the detailed feedback, much like one would
receive from an accounting instructor, which is who wrote the feedback. The simulation gives
students detailed feedback so that they are tutored at key points. It could be used in classroom
instructions and text presentations.

(Chapter 3: Mitchie, Jenny)
M:To start our discussion in Chapter 3, lets tackle first the research method we used which is
the descriptive normative research method where we gathered and analyzed information about
what is going on at the present time. Normative approach, however, tries to define how things
should be, which means that it will be necessary to define also the subjective point of view that
shall be used.

J: Statistical Treatment of Data explanation
(Conclusions)

M: So, what could be the possible disclosures of
our research?
J: Did you all kinda relate yourselves to our
topic?
Sl: Whats your ideal Accountancy professor
now?
Sr: Do you want a change in our current
teacher-student relationship based on our
experiences?
E: Or we just have the need to accept the fact
that studying Accountancy is within us and
merely depends from our professors?
M: Again, we all know that taking up this course
will never be by chance , fate or just a simple
InIMINIMO decision. It is such a risk especially
that it will reflect your real perspective in
choosing such career. Although we present that
online instruction is possible or the behavior of
the professors to be extrovert, we still have
almost the 99% responsibility of building up the
study habits and excluding ourselves from the
possible distractions around us.
J: Exactly Ms. Contreras. Furthermore, we
should also realize if we could possibly CPA and
teacher in this institution how were gonna rule a
class. Lets say, you are too much forgiving and
very generous in passing them at 3, but your
students might abuse your kindness.
Remember, their performance shows your
credibility as a teacher. Just like the quote says,
Grades doesnt measure intelligence always.
Sr: And of course, if we shall remember the
power of Metcognitive Awareness once again.
Know your strengths and weaknesses for your
preparation in taking up our major subjects. But
never stop from that rather find ways of making
a place of improvement in your life. Let say youa
re good in Cost accounting but not in Financial
Accounting, then never be ashamed of helping
yourself in learning more before you regret the
chance by receiving failing grades.
Sl: Most importantly is reconnecting these as
lessons in life. If we ever succeed in major
exams, we could at least thank our professors or
if we have miscommunications in a certain
chapter, we could ask nicely for as we all know,
no one is as great as God to know and explain
everything. Suggestion is a must but respect first
before anything else. In case of unexpected
horryfing results of exams, never give up and
cause I believe that everything happens for a
reason.
E: So thats all for our research. We all wish you
learned something enough to empower your
hope and faith in making this Accountancy
experience worth studying for. If life on earth is
temporary, What makes you think that your
problems are permanent?Yes, our professors
might be the best in terms of teaching or just
giving grades but in the end, if you apply
everything you learned in the real world, there
will always be a moment when you are the only
person who could help yourself to have the
sensibility in your job and of course in your life.
