Women in Technology Co-ordinator (Ref: WIT3301)


Salary: Up to 18,000 per annum
Location: Manchester City Centre
Fixed Term until March 2015


Business Growth Hub is currently recruiting a Women in Technology Co-ordinator to support the Digital Growth
Manager in the delivery of the Women In Technology contract.
To be based in Manchester City Centre


The duties of the job include:

To work with the Digital Growth Team to continue development and delivery of the Women in Technology programme.
To ensure all Women in Technology enquiries are captured, logged and checked for eligibility within the system.
To work with the Digital growth team and the marketing and events team to develop a fully integrated offer to ensure
the delivery and impacts of the contract are achieved.
To work with the Digital Growth Events co-ordinator to create new and repeat events for female-led entrepreneurs
based on: networking, subject related master classes and workshops.
To develop new methods of delivery including events, video and podcasts via our website.
To support the Manager in the external promotion of the Women In Technology service, and to proactively initiate and
assist with the generation of leads, leading to increased activity.
To handle client enquiries via, phone, website and email, checking eligibility and referring to team members or other
services as required.
To ensure client enquiries and partner referrals are correctly recorded on Captavia and associated data capturing
systems, updating progress against agreed actions
To undertake any other duties commensurate with the position and as required by the Digital Growth Manager.
To contribute to marketing effort as required ensuring that overall performance targets are achieved.
To handle client enquiries relating to the Women in Technology contract via, phone, website and email, checking
eligibility and referring to team members or other services as required.
To represent the Digital Growth Manager and the Digital Growth Team.

Experience within similar role.
Experience of successfully carrying out an effective administrative support function requiring a highly organised and
efficient approach.
Experience of working in a busy, professional and demanding environment.
Effective written report and letter writing skills.
Effective verbal and presentational skills.
The ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
The ability to prioritise key tasks to achieve targets.
The ability to work with a wide range of partners at a wide variety of levels.
