MAIN AIM:
To provide students with some basic classroom language that will enable them to
communicate in English at all times during their foreign language lessons
UNIT: Introduction classroom language.
Unit purpose: The purpose of this unit is to provide the students with some basic
classroom language that will enable them to communicate in English at all times
during their foreign language.
Lessons.
1.1. Greeting people and responding to Greetings.
1.2. Communicating in the classroom.
1.3. Maintaining communication in or out of the classroom.

The whole group Chart with phrases The teacher will introduce himself using the some
greetings.
Ask the Ss if they know some greetings and farewells.
Lets learn The Ss will learn some phrases we are going to use in class 15 min. Chart with
phrases Give to the class some phrases we are going to use in the English class.
Lets practice Understand and learn the pronunciation 10 min. Projector or copies Repetition
of farewells use the flash card
To help the students to understand
Give a short conversation where they can see this phrases.
Its your turn They will try to make a conversation to practice 10 min.
By pairs Using the example as a model the Ss will create a short dialogue to practice.
MAIN AIM:

UNIT I: Introduction classroom language. Communicating in classroom.

The whole group Give to the class some instructions like: open your books, etc.
Open your books Teach the class some common phrases used in class 15 min. Chart The
teacher will bring a chart with the most common expression used in class.
Encourage the Ss to repeat them.
Lets play Practice the phrases 10 min. Play the game Simon says: to practice the phrases.
I know what it means Practice them 10 min.
Individually Drawings To continue practicing the phrases, the teacher will provide some
drawings which they can stick them on their notebooks and write the correct phrase.

Unit purpose: The purpose of this unit is enable students to introduce themselves and
others, and to exchange personal details.
1.1. Introducing oneself and other people.
1.2. Asking for and giving personal details.
UNIT 2: ACTIONS IN PROGRESS
Unit purpose: The purpose of this unit is to enable students to give and obtain
information about possessions and to describe actions that are in progress at the
moment of speaking.
2.1. Asking and answering questions about personal possessions.
2.2. Describing what people are wearing and / or doing at the momento of speaking.
UNIT 3: HOBBIES, LEISURE AND SPORT.
Unit purpose: The purpose of this unit is to enable students to express their personal
interests around the topic of hobbies, leisure and sport, and to make / respond to
invitations to events / places related to the topic.
3.1. Expressing preferences, likes and dislikes.
3.2. Inviting and responding to invitations.
UNIT 4: DAILY LIFE.
Unit purpose:The purpose of this unit is enable students to describe actions that
happen daily or periodically in their lives or in the lives of people and animals they are
interested in.
4.1. Asking and telling the time.
4.2. Asking for and giving information about everyday activities.
UNIT 5: PLACES AND BUILDINGS.
Unit purpose: The purpose of this unit is to enable students to describe the place where
they or other people live, and to ask the way / give directions.
5.1. Giving simple information about places.
5.2. Asking the way and giving directions.
Lengua Extranjera (Ingls)

El propsito de estudiar una lengua extranjera (ingls) en la educacin secundaria es que los estudiantes
obtengan los conocimientos necesarios para participar en algunas prcticas sociales del lenguaje, orales y
escritas, en su pas o en el extranjero, con hablantes nativos y no nativos del ingls. En otras palabras, a
travs de la produccin e interpretacin de diversos tipos de textos, tanto orales como escritos de
naturaleza cotidiana, acadmica y literaria, los estudiantes sern capaces de satisfacer necesidades
bsicas de comunicacin en un rango de situaciones familiares.

Los programas de Ingls pretenden que al concluir la educacin secundaria, los alumnos:

Obtengan la idea principal y algunos detalles de una variedad de textos orales y escritos
utilizando su conocimiento del mundo.

Respondan al lenguaje oral y escrito de diversas maneras lingsticas y no lingsticas.

Inicien o intervengan en una variedad de conversaciones o transacciones utilizando estrategias
verbales y no verbales.

Mantengan la comunicacin, reconozcan cuando hay rupturas y utilicen recursos estratgicos
para repararla cuando lo requieran.

Produzcan mensajes inteligibles adecuando su seleccin de formas lingsticas y su
pronunciacin.

Comprendan vocabulario poco familiar o desconocido utilizando estrategias especficas.

Busquen elementos de cohesin para entender la relacin de las partes dentro de un enunciado
o texto.

Formen y justifiquen una opinin acerca de un texto.

Utilicen estrategias para reconocer la forma y comprender el contenido de una variedad de
textos literarios sencillos.

Utilicen estrategias para buscar informacin especfica y comprender una variedad de textos
acadmicos.

Utilicen estrategias para comprender y responder efectivamente a una variedad de textos
cotidianos sencillos.
