IBFD, Your Portal to Cross-Border Tax Expertise




IBFD is the leading international provider of cross-border tax expertise. An independent, non profit foundation, IBFD
has a long-standing history in supporting and contributing to tax research and academic activities. IBFD utilizes a
global network of tax experts to serve Fortune 500 companies, governments, universities, international consultancy
firms and tax advisors. IBFDs core business is research, publishing (online and print) and education in international
taxation. All IBFD products are accessible through IBFDs Tax Research Platform, the powerful online engine behind
efficient tax information and research. Founded in 1938 and headquartered in Amsterdam, IBFD also has a local
presence in important markets such as North America, Asia and China.

The IBFD Knowledge Centre is home to most of the tax specialists within IBFD. It is a publications and research
department with staff engaged in updating and reviewing IBFDs publications, conducting research into international
tax, and lecturing on various tax topics. The Knowledge Centre is comprised of several Knowledge Groups focused
either on particular geographic regions or on specialist international tax topics. The research staff of the Knowledge
Centre is drawn from all over the world, mainly having expertise in the tax systems of various countries, as well as
specialisation in key areas of taxation.

The IBFD Knowledge Centre currently has a challenging position for:

EU Tax Law Specialist, European Knowledge Group

The European Knowledge Group is part of the IBFDs Knowledge Centre, and home to the IBFD's best-known
publications on Europe, such as the European Tax Surveys; the European Taxation journal; and the ECJ Direct Taxes
Case Law database. The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for IBFDs EU tax law offering.

Responsibilities
Management of IBFDs EU Tax Law publications
and news portfolio
Editorial responsibility for IBFDs EU law
publications
Masterminding IBFDs product development in the
area of EU tax law
Responsibility for the design and delivery of EU tax
law courses
Provision of technical support to other
departments of IBFD, e.g. the International Tax
Training department, and the Government
Consultancy Department


Background
A university degree in law, accountancy or related
areas
Proven expertise in EU tax law
Notable experience as a writer and editor in the
field of taxation
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience
with a tax/accounting firm, a governmental agency
or an international organization dealing with
domestic and international tax law


Skills
Excellent writing and editorial skills
Native (or equivalent) command of the English
language (knowledge of additional European
languages will be an added advantage)
Excellent project management skills

Salary & fringe benefits
We offer a full-time position with a gross yearly salary,
depending on background and relevant work
experience, between Euro 45.000 65.000.
