Assignments:
Math homework is given DAILY. Assignments are listed weekly on the website. Homework is always due the
next day unless there is an excused absence or family emergency (please send a note). Fifty percent will be
given to an assignment that is one day late, and no credit will be given thereafter. Homework assignments are
worth 3 points, late assignments receive 1.5. ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN in order to receive credit.
Homework must always be done in the spiral-bound notebook for the class, unless otherwise noted.
Website: Homework assignments, and other information regarding the class can be found on the website. To
get to the website go to www.travisranchschool.org, hover over MIDDLE SCHOOL, click on Staff, scroll
down to click on my name: Saltzman, Nicole. The link will take you to my general website, then you need to
click on Algebra 1 for the class page where homework will be posted.
Make-Up Work: If you are absent on the day an assignment is due, you will be given one day to make up work
for each school day you were absent. Have another student in the class to call (study buddy) or look online
for the homework missed. Please check student planner for school rules on absences. It is up to YOU to
show me the homework the following day to receive credit for it. In general, I will NOT ask you for the
homework, so dont forget it!!
Required Materials:
Planner (track all assignments and tests; allow for communication between parents and teacher)

Grades for the class are based on a percentage using tests, homework, quizzes, projects, and class work.
