ABSTRACT
 Student evaluation is a very laborious and time taking process. It involves
activities like test paper setting. Examination conduction and test evalutation.
Setting a test paper is a laborious and repetitive job. Since each time a test paper is
set for a course the process of searching questions into books,books tutorials etc. is
repeated. Once a paper is set the process of examination conduction starts this
process takes a lot of time and resources. Finally evalution of the test is done
which again requests lot of human effotrs. Today there is a need to expedite the
evalution process as there is an increase in student enrollment in universities and
colleges. These problems can be solved by bulding a softwere for automating the
examinatin proces.
Question bank and examination system is such an automated examination
system. It provides a means of creating a digital question bank. This question bank
is the used to generate test papers. Test papers are generated either by selecting
questions manually or by setting parameters for random test papergeneration.
