FROM A CITIZEN FOR THE CARMEL FIRE AMBULANCE
DEPARTMENT

RECOMMENDATION(S):
Adopt Resolution accepting the Donation of $1,000 for Carmel Fire Ambulance
Department.

RESOLUTION 2014_____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA ACCEPTING A $1,000 DONATION FROM A CITIZEN FOR
THE CARMEL FIRE AMBULANCE DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, a private citizen has made a donation to the Carmel Fire Ambulance
Department; and
WHEREAS, the Citys Policy C89-41, Acceptance of Donations and Gifts to the City,
requires City Council accept all gifts in excess of $500 by resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA DOES:
1. Accept the $1,000 donation from a private citizen and authorize it to be
deposit into the Carmel Fire Ambulance Account 01-46801-0004.

2. Authorize the Mayor to send a thank you letter.
