Clash for a Cure

Competitive Events
Version 1.0 2014
Hardcore
Warmachine&Hordes Hardcore Event
Each player will provide one (1) 50pt list that is fully painted and based. This
will be reminiscent of Hardcore from years ago, but obviously a hybrid. Its
going to be brutalbut the rewards are worth it.
7 minute turns with one 3 minute extension per player each game.
Killbox- After the 2
nd
turn, a warcaster/warlock beginning their
activation inside 14 of any board edge automatically loses. Deployment
will be at 10 for both players.
Win by assassination or Kill Box only. If dice down is called for the
round and there is no winner, both players lose.
Awards for Vanquisher, Executioner, Mage Hunter, and Master
Craftsman.
The top 4 players will be placed on the list for The Clash on Sunday.

When the expected end time for the round arrives, the judge checks on all remaining active
games. Games with less than 5 minutes combined on both player clocks are played to
completion. Games with more than 5 minutes combined on both player clocks are declared a
draw.
No One Left Behind
Warmachine&Hordes 50pt Steamroller
Players will provide 2 50pt army lists. Lists are character restricted. This
event will use the Divide and Conquer rule meaning both lists must be played
twice.
This will be a four round event using Deathclock timing (48 minutes per player
including deployment).
All rounds for this event will be played using a randomly generated scenario
from the Steamroller 2014 rules packet. Scenarios will be used only once
during the event.




This event is capped at 48 players and will be filled on a first come basis. On
registration you will need to include in the notes which event is your
preference for Saturday.
Top 6 players from the event will advance to The Clash on Sunday.

Warmachine&Hordes 50pt Steamroller
Players will provide 1 50pt list with up to 10pts of Specialists (please refer
to the SR 2014 packet for details).
This will be a four round event using Deathclock timing (48 minutes per player
including deployment).
All rounds for this event will be played using a randomly generated scenario
from the Steamroller 2013 rules packet. Scenarios will be used only once
during the event.
This event is capped at 48 players and will be filled on a first come basis. On
registration you will need to include in the notes which event is your
preference for Saturday.
Top 6 players from the event will advance to The Clash on Sunday.



The Clash

Warmachine&Hordes 50pt Masters Format
Players will provide 3 50pt army lists. Lists are character restricted. This
event will use the Divide and Conquer rule meaning all lists must be played at
least once. Lists are character restricted.
This will be a four round event using Deathclock timing (42 minutes per player
including deployment).
All rounds for this event will be played using a randomly generated scenario
from the Masters 2014 rules packet. Scenarios will be used only once during
the event.
This event is the finals for Clash and as such, you must place accordingly in
one of the three qualifying events to participate.
The winner of course wins a spot for the Invitational at Warmachine Weekend.
If the winner has already qualified for a spot in the Invitational, he will still
acquire the seeding points for the event, but the next in line will receive the
spot.
