Although the advantages of BPM seem apparent, the major challenge that most process professionals
face is gaining buy-in from senior management and demonstrating benefits on the businesses bottom
line. In addition to communicating the value of BPM to managers and to external users, practitioners
must also understand how to apply theoretical knowledge into the business practically and successfully
manage change during transformation.
