Raise us that day In the best of forms And shelter us within The shade of Your Throne Allow it to pass Like a short prayer and ... Illuminate our scrolls Within our right hand
Make the bridge not a sword But steady and wide Or roll it up fast So we cross in one stride Quench our thirst at the pool By the hands of the one Whose hands produced water That was second to none
Allow us to enter Your garden, my King And within its meadows Allow us to sing Of the one through whom We attained Your Grace Because he raised his hands And pleaded our case
Our good deeds are few Our obedience weak But were still Amads nation So through him we seek What we here have written And all we have not Of what weve remembered And what weve forgot
Send peace on Muammad And endless prayers And on all his companions, Family and heirs.
